Hey guys. As you know, Disney's already made spin-off series to "101 Dalmatians", "The Little Mermaid", "Aladdin", "Hercules", "Tarzan" and "Lilo '& Stitch", among others (forgive me if there's a series a forgot). Which other films from the official canon list would you like Disney to make a spin-off series and why?

None of them. The only films that could spawn good TV series are Lilo and Stitch (which obviously had one) and Toy Story (which has the short film series instead).

I'd love to see an ongoing movie franchise continuing the legacy of Fantasia however, if it was a matter of art and quality rather than commerce.

If we are talking off of an animated property that has not already been given a show, I'd have to say I'm actually a little sad the Atlantis show never happened. That said, I think DIsney's best animated shows (for the most part) have been ones based of off classic characters or original ideas. See the shows of The DIsney Afternoon for more on that. Most of the stories told on film that are animated really are self contained. Despite that, I enjoyed Aladdin: The Series, The Legend of Tarzan, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and Lilo & Stitch: The Series.

If we are talking live action? Lone Ranger, or at least some kind of Disney western. I actually feel that The Lone Ranger would have been better served as a new tv show than a big budget summer film and I'd love to see Disney get back to tv westerns. I don't expect it has tv audiences today don't seem interested in them anymore, but I'd love to see a good Disney tv western again!

Judging from the short, I think Tangled could work as a series; maybe have one character focused on each week. Thugs, King and Queen, Eugene, Mother Gothel etc etc; we find out about their pasts and motives etc. think that could be kind of cool!

I enjoyed the "Lilo & Stitch" series as well, because they had some genuinly funny moments now and then. The plotlines were good. Last, but not least, the series expanded the dynamic between the two leads, where they actually had some chemistry (yes, I know that I've said this before, but they really didn't had chemistry in the original film). Not to mention that Jumbaa, Pleakley and Gantu were more enjoyable in the series.

I also enjoyed "The Little Mermaid" series. Mainly because of that we got to see a better side of Ariel. She's actually a warm, caring and wiser character in the series. The plotlines were mostly good. the songs enjoyable and a little darker than the actual movie.

The "Aladdin" series was a hit and miss. Some episodes were fine, but others were darker than the actual movie and actually lacked some spunk and the warmth from the original. Most of all, I hated how Aladdin was an arrogant jerk at times, as opposed to in the movie and Princess Jasmine was just as personality-deprived and actually downright prissy and unlikeable at times. Iago was just despicable. However, it was fun to see that some cues from the series were foreshadowing Disney's upcoming movies; Sadira is somewhat is reminiscent of Esmeralda and the episodes where Jasmine is interpreting a soldier, is almost exactly as Mulan does. Not to mention the monsters in the series, which are reminiscent of the monsters in "Hercules".

Otherwise, the "Tarzan" series was okay enough. Not outstanding, but not horrible neither. I haven't seen so much of "Hercules" show, but the "101 dalmatians" was cute enough. Either way, I wasn't so crazy about "The Jungle Cubs". "Timon & Pumbaa" was a hit and miss; Some episodes were enjoyable, while others were downright horrible. "Tale Spin", however, was mostly a enjoyable show.

Personally, I'd like to see a TV show based off the Sugar Rush game from Wreck-It Ralph, with a pilot episode loosely based off the events in the actual film. I feel it could be a nice way to give the other racers more screentime, though not stealing the spotlight from Vanellope. The atmosphere could be more or less like My Little Pony, except with no spontaneous musical numbers and with a more animesque feel.

Not a bad idea at all.

Personally, I would have liked if Disney made a tv show about Pocahontas. One that is reminiscent of The Little Mermaid series. Which takes place before she meets John Smith. I wouldn't mind if Disney made a series about Bambi, in the same way of "The new adventures of Winnie the Pooh".

I'd love to see a Rescuers series. Though, it may be too much like Rescue Rangers. On the more obscure side, I wouldn't mind seeing a Black Hole or Black Cauldron series.

Sleeping Beauty one. Imagine them giving Aurora a much bigger personality and screen time and her and Phillip going around and fighting Dragons and Monsters and things. They had twins in the original tale so maybe they could make it a few years later so the twins can be old enough to have a decent personality and old enough to fight Witches and things.

Ooh, nice idea! Maybe the girl twin could be groomed to be a proper lady when she actually wants to be a warrior like her brother, so she dons a disguise to help him fight during the missions his parents assign him to. I know, it sounds cliché, fight me.

I would love a Wreck-It Ralph or Princess and the Frog series.

That way Disney could translate the rest of the books in animated format.

Plus, it would be the equivalent to Game of Thrones.

Please don't EVER compare something as good as Game of Thrones to the cheapness that is the Black Cauldron.

But yeah Disney should actually have their own Game of Thrones/Lord of The Rings-genre style film. Their only try was Cauldron and it epicly failed.

Well...mmmm, I´m not expecting for the characters to have sex, torture, kill, be incestuous and such.

Was just saying that The Black Cauldron for Disney would be their fantasy/dark series.

It does sounds cliche but it does sound pretty cool. And makes sense since it's Medieval times at all. Aurora was lucky getting married to somebody that she liked and that was a huge big deal. Women fighters would cause a even bigger stir so dressing up while not rare in movies and things, it does make sense.

If Disney made a series like that I would adore it.

But to be concrete, there are lots of other good things in Game of Thrones aside from the gore and the sex: the characters, the subversion of tropes typically found in fantasy series, the questioning of labels such as "good vs evil" (the characters act mostly in a grey light, tbh)...

...If you say the only memorable part of GoT is the sex and the gore then I'm wondering if you haven't seen something else.
