I don't know if this is true or not but I found this link on the IMDB Even Stevens Message Board.

Oh, Loomis, you make me so proud.

I *do* need to add that one where Andy Lawrence plays the blind wrestler, though, like, right now!

As for the DVD dates, they haven't been announced, so 15-year-old Adam Linder, who coincidentally posts on our forum as SofaKing381222, *might* just be playing the great and powerful Oz. More DVDs would be nice, though. Where'd you get the info, Adam?

Wait, first you said they gave you these release dates and that they're definitely coming. Now, you merely gave them the ideas for releasing them to DVD?

if you reread his posts and the amazon link nowhere does it say...that the movies are coming to DVD, it merely states the names of the movies themselves and a date next to the ones confirmed for dvd..so i guess you guys jumped the gun and thought he was saying they were available

So I guess we can all take note of the man behind the curtain and know that this was never really true at all.

I am both wise and humble.

Does this mean that the "gerbil" incident is now officially forgiven? Really, apologise again to that elderly lady for me - I had no idea she was right behind you...

Besides, I have to plug the site now that it proudly exhibits my own handiwork :)

I actually first read about this in December. I noticed a pattern in the other "Zenon" films. There where 2 years in between them and each was released in January. I had heard rumors of a third, but when Disney Channel started playing comercials for "Pixel Perfect" as being the Original Movie for January, I searched IMDB to find out if the third film had been canceled. I discovered that it was in post production and that a release date was not yet set. I can't wait until June!

I really don't think that Disney movies on the Disney Channel are very good I think they suck.
The plot is very lame while the actors and actress don't act well at all.
Why are they coming to DVD anyway.
Hey Luke can we have a Disney movie countdown?
I only have a few favorites. :D

Hey does anyone think there's a chance in hell that any of the TV movies made for ABC Family, might make it to DVD?

I'm curious to see movies like this one, but I can't get the channel. The plot seems really derivative of other fluffy romantic-comedies, but I like the actors involved, so...yeah. :)

Now why can't that movie air on the Wonderful World of Disney (which I never watch anymore 'cause it just doesn't interest me)? Sigh.

It depends on who produces the ABC Family TV Movies, really. The dreadful Lucky Seven was released on DVD by Columbia/TriStar, but many others aren't. Celeste in the City seems to be a Disney-funded picture, so the odds of a DVD are lower.

Thanks Luke... That's kinda what I figured, but I had to ask anyway. I know this is blasphemy (and I never could've imagined myself thinking this way a few years ago) but I almost wish some other studio would buy Disney's catalogue and release it all... since Disney won't do it. When I think of how they're just sitting on all these TV movies....and TV series... well it's a damn shame. When are they really gonna hop on the TV-on-DVD bandwagon? Seems every other studio is taking advantage of this trend, except Disney. :x

I mean, what are the Disney Powers That Be thinking? "Celeste In The City" (and 2 other ABC Family movies I know of) feature former actors from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and/or Roswell ... both of which have a huge fanbase around the world... many of whom can't get ABC Family in their country but would love to buy the movies and are already asking if/when they're coming to DVD (judging by various Buffy and Roswell message boards I've browsed). Also, Buffy and Roswell DVDs are selling really well right now... and since the shows are over, fans want to follow the actors future projects. Disney's missing a major opportunity here, to cash in!

I mean, I'm pretty sure there are more Buffy and Roswell fans than there are people who were begging for ...say... Balloon Farm on DVD. :P

Oh and I really really really really really want Confessions of An Ugly Stepsister! I caught it on TV late one night and loved it .... wasn't prepared to tape it though. And it hasn't even been released on VHS?!

It's just typical of current-Disney. They finally make a *good* TV movie that I'm actually interested in buying.... but they completely ignore it. In favour of promoting/selling/over-exposing ....crap. I'm guessing that Disney didn't have much of a hand in Confessions...creatively speaking... hence the lack of attention on their part now. Maybe if it were starring Hilary Duff as Cinderella... it would be a higher priority. 'Course then I wouldn't want it anymore. I just can't win! :P

I am grateful for this website by the way... Disney does such a lousy job of promoting the majority of their releases. Thank you for keeping track of all the release dates! :)

I think that Disney is going to be a bit wow-ed by the success of Boy Meets World on DVD, and that's going to cause them to take a closer look at their TV inventory. I think we'll see more development in their non-feature film releases within the next two years.
