It’s just seven seconds long, but for whatever reason, ABC may have just provided us with our first look at the hotly anticipated Hulk television series that Guillermo del Toro and Marvel television have been working on for years. It’s just seven seconds long, but it now looks like the series, which was hopefully offered as a 2013-2014 candidate by ABC’s Paul Lee at the television industry’s upfronts last year is soon headed to the small screen via a mystery writer. The Upfronts is an annual event in which networks traditionally invite advertisers and dazzle them with celebrities and sneak peeks at upcoming fall programming — ABC’s 2013 Upfronts will take place on May 14.
It is there we expect that ABC will deliver a sneak peek at the Hulk television program along with its other new offerings along with filling in the blanks and — perhaps more importantly — offer a series premiere date.
Until then, we will have to do with the following video which features a very out-of-focus beast making a mess in the middle of traffic as seen through the guerrilla lens of a group apparently known as the ‘Rising Tide.’
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKudu6_JR4g
But just who is this ‘Rising Tide’ you ask? A most excellent question. All we can tell you for sure is that Disney recently registered a slew of domain names for an apparent viral campaign to promote the series. As of right now, the only working domain is WEARETHERISINGTIDE.COM but that unfortunately returns a forbidden access response. Other registered domains include: WHATISTHERISINGTIDE.COM and THERISINGTIDEISHERE.NET.
UPDATE: Marvel Freshman of ComicBookMovie.com notes that the core footage seen in the teaser simply appears to be from the Abomination fight scene at the end of The Incredible Hulk from 2008, with a filter and logo overlay added.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

We all assumed it was a sure thing, but it's now finally official - ABC has picked up Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as a series, debuting this fall.
Co-written by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen and directed by Joss Whedon, the S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot was filmed back in January - one of the earliest pilots to go into production this year. It was obviously a high profile project, both as an offshoot of the uber-successful Marvel movie series and specifically as a follow-up/spinoff of Whedon's amazingly huge Avengers movie, the third highest grossing film ever.
Along the way, ABC cautioned they had not given the greenlight to the project beyond the pilot stage, but it would have been shocking if it hadn't been picked up, given all the factors involved. The massive success of Iron Man 3 only cemented the fact that a Marvel-centric TV series was a highly desirable commodity at this point.
Clark Gregg reprises his role from the Marvel films as Phil Coulson in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., joined by a cast that includes Ming-Na Wen ("Agent Melinda May"), Elizabeth Henstridge ("Agent Jemma Simmons"), Iain De Caestecker ("Agent Leo Fitz"), Brett Dalton ("Agent Grant Ward"), Chloe Bennet ("Skye") and J. August Richards. While the character names for everyone else have been revealed (and all are apparently newly created for the series), Richards' character is being kept under wraps, leading to speculation he is playing someone from the Marvel Universe.
The first promo for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will air this weekend, during Sunday night's Once Upon a Time finale.
Update: ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. website has posted the following S.H.I.E.L.D. ID cards of the cast. While Chloe Bennet's Skye is listed, she has no ID card - the character is a hacker the team meet in the pilot.

I love when a guy approaches Coulson's car and he says don't touch Loloa
Also if you go to the 12 second part. I swear I see a black guy saving someone. That guy looks like he could be Luke Cage aka Powerman

That's not Luke Cage in the trailer but they are saying that Dwayne Johnson may be playing him in Avengers 2.

was quite a cool show so far and i'm really enjoying it thanks to it's pilot.
Now if we can have Man-Thing, The Punisher, Rocket Raccoon, Howard The Duck etc. as guest that would be nice.

Yeah, it was really good. I don't think that we are going to get any BIG cameos but I definitely think that we will be getting some of the lesser known Marvel characters turning up at some point.
And the Coulson mystery continues...

A few people I know felt it it missed the mark, but it's just the pilot. I have a feeling it will get better for them.
I really enjoyed it and I think it has some great potential to be a blockbuster show.

I thought it was pretty cool. It wasn't perfect, but a pilot is never perfect. I will certainly watch the next couple of episodes and then judge if I want to continue.

The link below shows some ideas that will happen on the November 19th episode. If you don't want to know the subject matter, don't click below.
It will be a crossover episode, taking place after the events of Thor The Dark World
Here's the Link

But does that mean we need to have seen the second Thor movie beforehand?

Unless you want to be spoiled, I'd suggest seeing the movie first. I'm wondering if we should talk openly about the subject so people don't watch Agents of Shield
only to be spoiled with the results of Thor 2 if they hadn't seen it yet.

Cheers. Not sure that's going to be possible before Friday (when it airs here in the UK), but we'll see...

Agent's of Shield has been picked up for a second season.

Also a series called Agent Carter focusin gon Peggy Carter in 1946, the love interest that Captain America had is going to start
Agent Carter follows the story of Peggy Carter (Atwell). It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark, all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life – Steve Rogers. Reaper creators Michele Fazekas & Tara Butters serve as executive producers/showrunners, Captain America: The First Avenger‘s Steve McFeely & Christopher Marcus wrote the script and also executive produce, along with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb. The script was finished more than four months ago (“the script is great,” ABC’s Paul Lee said back in January), the option on one-shot’s star Atwell had to be extended as it came up three months ago.
