Hi everyone,

I need your opinions on a dilemma I am facing right now, and thats Falling in Love with a Married Woman.

The thing is: last November marked the 4-year anniversary I began getting VERY heavily into the evangelical sermons of a famous preacher named Kirk Cameron, who for those of you unfamiliar with him is a fairly new, relatively young Preacher who has delivered sermons since the year 2000.

Soon after I started getting into his Preachings, and coincidentally soon after losing my maternal Grandmother, whom I called Dot and refer to her as Dot, in January 2009, but soon after Dot died, I discovered, per Kirks official personal site at http://kirkcameron.com (revamped last Summer) that he has a younger sister named Candace, who per the site is happily married to a retired Pro Hockey player named Val Bure, with whom she has 3 children (including a teen daughter who started high school last Fall, a teenage son, and an 11-year-old son, respectively) and lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Despite the above info to be truthful, I quickly began an Infatuation with Candace, and considering I have relatives who live in Fort Lauderdale, I took into VERY serious consideration traveling to Fort Lauderdale to visit my relatives on the side and meet Candace in person while having my relatives give me a free tour of the entire city over the course of a week-long vacation.

Instead, I chose to meet Candace in September 2011 via Twitter (and Kirk soon after via Google Plus, a Social Networking site launched by Google in July 2011, opening to the public in September 2011), with our friendship expanding via Facebook in October 2012.

Do I STILL hope to see Candace in person someday? Absolutely, yet simultaneously Im not in any rush to make that reality for 2 reasons: #1. Because I dont want to do ANYTHING that could cause a permanent rift between me and Candace, and #2. Because I know, realistically, that by traveling there just to see her in person, at the very least, Id either be trespassing if I showed up uninvited at her house (not that I ever will, for the record), or she could view me as deranged.

One thing Im aware of is that, because of my beefy appearance, like that of a football player, most women, by first impression alone, view me as deranged and/or perverted; the reality is, once people get to know me, they will discover that you cant judge a book by its cover.

In actuality, I may not be Albert Einstein smart, but I am educated. I may not have a college degree, but I am a lot more mature for my age (28) than most people who are my age are.

Ive had to overcome SO much, including being an Abuse Survivor, having been severely abused as an 11-year-old by a then-current teacher of mine who falsely believed it would be a great idea to have a group of boys in my class hold my penis for me as I tried peeing, a form of abuse I later learned as an adult was called Physical Restraintment (surprisingly legal in every U.S. state).

I could name other things Ive had to overcome, including having been diagnosed at age 3, with severe Autism (a serious Brain Disease affecting 1 in 50 kids born in the U.S. alone, many of whom NEVER will speak), but that would be getting a bit off the subject here.

So instead, before I go to bed as of this writing, I will just note that I believe everyone should be treated with the 7 most important letters of the alphabet: R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Honesty and Respect are the keys to ANY relationship, including but especially friendship.

I try to be the same Danny Hooley I am online AND in real life: kind, courteous, caring, honest, and especially respectful, not just to Candace but to EVERYONE I meet, online AND in real life.

So you are in love with DJ Tanner from Full House and you think she's attracted to you because of your good looks.......

This has got to be hands down the oddest subject for a post on this website I've seen for a while.

I think this is more of a celebrity crush rather than true feelings. It's like a 10 year old girl thinks she wants to marry Justin Bieber and await the phone call for the proposal. That's what this sounds like to me. Very unrealistic and more of a deranged fantasy that sounds like it's going way too far in my opinion.

I agree with Michael. You've never even met this woman! I don't think that there is any possibility of a romantic relationship between the two of you, and if you were to pursue it, you would be making a very bad choice for yourself, Candace, her husband, and their kids! If I were you, I would stop talking with Candace as much, or even at all, until your feelings start to subside.

There is a major part of your problem. Kirk Cameron is one of the stupidest people on earth. He gives not only Christians, but MANKIND a bad name!!! Get away from his teachings ASAP. Kirk is a complete brainwashed idiot.

Aside from that, you need to seek out some psychiatric help for yourself if you are feeling/thinking these things. Honestly.

I think you're doing the right thing, by keeping your contact with this woman the way it is. If she was interested, she would contact you. Plus, if you ever were to go see her, she and others probably would react the way you've guessed. I would just keep things the way they are, enjoy her friendship/contact, and go on with your life. There are plenty of people you could meet where you are.

While no one can control one's feelings, I believe this is a situation you need to step back from to put into proper perspective. There's a clear difference between having an infatuation over someone you've never met, and falling in love with someone you've interacted with on a much more personal level. You don't know her well enough to have fallen in love with the real her; in fact, you most likely can't see anything past the ideal pedestal you've placed her upon.

You claim that R-E-S-P-E-C-T is important to you, yet you've already acknowledged that this woman is married with children. Pursuing a relationship with her is disrespectful for all involved. I'd suggest focusing your energies on the people already in your life, and let any potential relationships develop in a natural way from that. And if these feelings persist to the point that they invade your daily life, seek professional help.

Ah yes, the "I have a crush on a beautiful woman that's unfortunately married!" scenario. ... only this time, you've never met her personally. ... honestly, I can't say much about it.
Anyway, it would be easier to have a crush on someone and meet that someone... when she's right there near you or in front of you. Yes I do want to meet a girl of my dreams that happens to be in the opposite side of the US (as an example), but sadly, it'll never be easy meeting this one. ... see, love can hurt more than you think. Just take alternatives.

You're post tells me otherwise, especially when having such unrealistic expectations and that you follow that psycho evangelist, Kirk Cameron. A smart person(and even if you're Christian) would stay the fuck away from him.

This could end very badly, with DJ having to get a restraining order and you in jail. I'd recommend NOT going to Florida. Also, as much as I like Growing Pains, you should know that Kirk Cameron is one of the most hateful and delusional people on this planet. Just....forget about the Cameron family and move on into the real world.

And I have a feeling the reason they are not doing a Left Behind Four is because Kirk Cameron has gone a little too crazy and turned into a self righteous jerk who thinks he's God's Gift to the world. Like we need another pastor with that kind of ego in the world

That's why instead they are rebooting the franchise with Nicholas Cage with Ashely Tisdale.

Hi everyone.

I need your opinion about something going on with me.

This November will mark the 5th anniversary I started getting very heavily into the evangelical Preachings of Kirk Cameron, a fairly new, relatively young Preacher who has been delivering sermons, both televised and in real Churches across the United States, since the year 2000 (by way of his native Los Angeles, California).

In January 2009, coincidentally soon after my maternal grandma (whom I will call Dot and will refer to her as Dot from here on out), soon after Dot died, I discovered, per his official site at http://kirkcameron.com (revamped earlier this Summer for the 3rd time in that many years) that he has a younger sister named Candace, who, per his official site, is happily married to a retired Pro Hockey player named Val Bure, with whom she has 3 teenagers (a teen daughter, aged 15, a 13-year-old son and a pre-teen son) and lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; considering I have relatives who live in Fort Lauderdale via subdivisions such as Sunrise and Davie, I considered, after the discovery, taking a week-long vacation to Fort Lauderdale visiting with my relatives on the side while traveling to every public building in Fort Lauderdale hoping to see Candace in person; instead of doing THAT due to the trip being 8 hours away from me combined with expensive costs, I chose a safer route to meet Candace--via Twitter; earlier this week, Labor Day, marked the 2-year anniversary of my first meeting Candace on Twitter, and though I will admit she and I have had our quarrels, as friends, I wouldnt trade my friendship with Candace for anything else in the world.

Im kind of hesitant to tell Candace how I really do feel about her, because I dont want to ruin my friendship with her via Twitter, along with her 17-year marriage to Val, but at the same time, since January 2009, Ive had quite the infatuation with Candace that has since grown to my falling in love with her--and that makes me feel good, especially when I start having fits of rage regarding things that went wrong for me growing up.

My Intellects are telling me that these feelings I have towards Candace are completely inappropriate, but at the same time, these feelings make me feel good, and give me energy to play Music, like the Guitar, the Dulcimer, the Piano and the Drums (as well as make me Exercise for her) that I otherwise wouldnt have.

I feel like Im at Wits end about these feelings, and dont know how to rid myself of them on my own.

ANY advice on this matter will be GREATLY appreciated.

First off, I understand celebrity crushes most everyone has had one at some point in their life.

But, I think you've gotten to far into this. I don't meant to be mean please don't take this the wrong way but chances of you meeting her are pretty much nil. As has been said she is married has a family. You follow her on Twitter that's great, but you need to cool it a bit. As has been said maybe try and seek some help you've dealt with a lot of horrible things in your life that can leave deep emotional scars and can change our way of thinking. Perhaps after you've moved past this desire to be with her, try joining a dating site. Look for social groups in your area, develop some hobbies. Go through the classifieds at your local community center see if perhaps there are some groups you would be interested in joining. You have so much to offer the people around you, the world is open to you.

Pursuing a married woman in any regard is a 100% guaranteed recipe for heartbreak. I should know, having spent several years doing it myself from 2001-2006. Even if the husband's not around, that woman's heart will never be completely yours; the vows she made will always be in the back of her mind.
