Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon have resulted in injuries.

Bloody spectators were being carried Monday to the medical tent that had been set up to care for fatigued runners. Police wove through competitors as they ran back toward the course.

“There are a lot of people down,” said one man, whose bib No. 17528 identified him as Frank Deruyter of North Carolina. He was not injured, but marathon workers were carrying one woman, who did not appear to be a runner, to the medical area as blood gushed from her leg. A Boston police officer was wheeled from the course with a leg injury that was bleeding.

About three hours after the winners crossed the line, there was a loud explosion on the north side of Boylston Street, just before the photo bridge that marks the finish line. Another explosion could be heard a few seconds later.

A late-night police chase and shootout has ended with one marathon bombing suspect dead and another on the run, Boston Police commissioner Ed Davis said early Friday morning.

Federal agents swarmed neighboring Watertown after local police were involved in a car chase and shootout with at least one of the suspects. During the pursuit, officers could be heard on police radio traffic describing the suspects as having grenades and other explosives.

One escaped capture, and another was shot and killed by police. A man was seen sprawled on the ground in footage shown on WHDH-TV, though it's unclear if that person was the one killed by police.

The FBI has yet to publicly confirm a connection between the events in Watertown and the twin explosions that killed 3 people and injured 170 others at the Boston Marathon on Monday. But according to a radio alert sent issued to fellow officers, the suspect who remained at large was the "one in the white hat" seen in the photos released by the bureau on Thursday.

The suspect was described as a "white male with dark complexion or a Middle Eastern male with thick curly hair wearing a charcoal gray hooded sweatshirt ... possibly with an assault rifle and explosives." Police in Watertown, Newton, Brighton and Cambridge were put on high alert as the suspect was said to be armed with a "long gun."

Glenn Beck says the Boston bombing investigation is a coverup conspiracy and yesterday he revealed the facts that supposedly support his case.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Glenn Beck is alleging a coverup and conspiracy in the Boston bombing investigation in the case of the Saudi national named Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi. Alharbi was supposedly in violation of section 212 3B of the Immigration and Nationality Act, citing “security and related grounds” and “terrorist activities.” The Saudi national was was cleared of involvement in the bombings, but it was also discovered that his visa to stay in the US had expired, and ICE may be readying to deport him on those grounds.

Glenn Beck claims the Saudi national’s deportation under section 212, 3B indicates “proven terrorist activity” and says “it is very difficult to charge someone with this — it has to be almost certain.” Glenn Beck claims that after Secretary of State John Kerry met with Saudi Foreign Minister Saud the FBI began “backtracking on the Saudi national from suspect, to person of interest, to witness, to victim, to nobody.”

Glenn Beck claims that President Barack Obama reportedly had a meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Saud and Saudi Ambassador Adel al-Jubeir which led to the Saudi national’s fate being changed:

“Wednesday at 5:35 p.m. the file is altered. This is unheard of, this is impossible in the timeline due to the severity of the charge …. You don’t one day put a 212 3B charge against somebody with deportation, and then the next day take it off. It would require too much to do it.”

Steven Miller, a research associate with the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, claims the Saudi national was only asked what he saw during the bombings, the FBI apologized, and then promised him special health care:

“He clarified that security officials asked him to focus on what he saw before the bombings, and on the nature of the event [to see] if he remembers what happened around him … he thanked American authorities who refuted media allegations about his status as a suspect …,”

Glenn Beck is promising more information about the alleged Boston bombing investigation conspiracy as the week goes on.

Three friends of the surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect were charged today with interfering with the investigation while a manhunt was under way.
The three, two students from Kazakhstan and a U.S. citizen, were not charged with direct involvement in the April 15 marathon bombings, which killed three people and injured 264.

But three days after the blasts, the trio moved swiftly to cover up for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev when the FBI made public pictures of the suspected bombers, made a public plea for help locating them and conducted a day-long manhunt that left much of Boston on lockdown, according to court papers.

Authorities charged the two Kazakhs, Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev, both 19, with conspiring to obstruct justice by disposing of a backpack containing fireworks they found in Tsarnaev's dorm room. The third man, Robel Phillipos, also 19, was charged with making false statements to investigators.
