Walt Disney Home Entertainment brings the next installment in the Buddies movie franchise, Super Buddies, to Blu-ray this Summer. The family friendly send-up of The Avengers and other superhero films stars kid-favorite pups Rosebud, B-Dawg, Budderball, Buddha and Mudbud as caped crusaders embrarking on their biggest adventure ever. Super Buddies streets on August 27th.

An ordinary day at Fernfield Farms turns extraordinary when Budderball, Mudbud, B-Dawg, Buddha and Rosebud discover mysterious rings that grant them each a unique super power. Before you can say, "Buddies, Assemble," the pups unleash their amazing abilities and race to the rescue as a shape-shifting bully from outer space threatens the planet. But can they succeed in kicking major tail without revealing their new secret identities? Super Buddies stars John Ratzenberger, Michael Teigen and Jason Earlesand, and features the voices of Colin Hanks, John Michael Higgins, Atticus Shaffer, Alyson Stoner, Maulik Pancholy, Chris Coppola, Amy Sedaris, Zendaya, Debra Jo Rupp and Tim Conway as the voice of Deputy Sniffer.

So wait, we get an announcement for this but not other titles we were promised like Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Atlantis, and Aladdin? K.

Disney just announced Disneynature's Wings of Life and now Superbuddies. Perhaps there will soon be separate announcements for the animated classics you mentioned.

Other than Reyquila, does anyone actually by these? They are crap. I confess to buying one for $3 at Half Price Books (that should tell you something) and my kids 5, 4 and 2 were bored out of their minds.
