Blackbeard's Ghost has always been one of my favorite Disney films, recently on youtube found a video that is a must for all fans of this classic film. Peter Ustinov who played dear Captain Blackbeard tells the story of the film. This was captured from a LP that was released at the time of the film.

Enjoy:

What a treat! Thank you for sharing this find. I didn't know this record existed, bu it's fun to listen to. I love discovering this kind of unique old Disney audio or video, and Youtube has some gems.

Charming movie

Thanks for posting that, Disney Guru. I definitely have to watch Blackbeard again, sometime soon! I was probably too young to get to see it at the movies - at least I didn't see it when it came out - but I remember reading a Disney comic book where the story was told in stills from the movie (as I recall it). Has anyone else seen this?

You need to see this movie. Either buy it on amazon or rent it online. It has Peter Ustinov as Blackbeard and was the voice of Prince John from Robin Hood

If I recall correctly this was one of the last live action films Walt visited on Set before his death
