Tell everybody what you think is the most boring moment in a Disney film. This can be a moment where you go to the fridge to have some drinks or just want to skip it with your remote
Mine is in Peter pan, where Hook and Smee bribe Tinkerbell in the ship. I just think that is such a boring moment! I always watch that part with no intrest at all

But this is a collection of shorts, not a full-lengh movie... isn't it?
I can't think of only one boring moment, but can think of boring movies... What about The Aristocats? Yeah, it may be charming and has some good animation in it, but it has no story and looks cheaply-made.

Peter Pan and Jungle Book (it should first be noted that I love both) have their fair share of down time.

Same here. The only parts I like in that movie are the 'Ev'rybody wants to be a cat" part, and the parts with the dogs. As for single boring moments . . . um . . . I don't really like the 'Let me be good to you' part of The Great Mouse Detective, which is sad, because it's one of my favorite Disney movies. And I remember there was a part in The Rescuers that I hated (sorry Tangela . . .
) but I forget what it was.

I really enjoy "Let Me Be Good To You", hehe! One of my favorite moments in the movie.

Atlantis and Treasure Planet were boring but some parts only.
Aristocats was also most boringest Disney film of all time!

Eh, maybe it bugs me because I'm a girl. It just doesn't advance the plot at all . . . I don't think it's necessary.

You just sumed up my thoughts about
The Rescuers.

You are just saying that! I know you liked The Rescuers, you are just mad at me because I wouldn't go out with you!

I'm not accusing either of you of this, but I've found that a lot of people have just fallen into line with the whole 'Atlantis is crap and boring' argument.
To me, it is a ripping adventure yarn the whole way through.
Then again, I found large chunks of Pocahontas boring. For me, most musicals are slowed down when the music comes on, unless the music is a worthwhile part of the story. I also found, 'April Showers' from Bambi a little boring, and a few surrounding scenes. Sorry

Bambi is probably my least favourite, although certain scenes are just classic...

I would say the fox and the hound had some boring parts.

Ooh! I love that "April Showers" Sequence on Bambi, although the storm part used to scare me when I was a kid. I always remember that Tune when I sit on my window and its raining.

In Bambi, the "Love is a song that never ends". It's a nice song, but it just did not fit in with the rest of Bambi, IMO.
In Alice in Wonderland, I used to be bored with "Very Good Advice", but not anymore.
I've seen Snow White so many times now (thanks to my brother insisting on watching it at least once a month!), that the movie bores me if it's not dealing with the dwarfs singing Heigh-Ho or the yodeling song.
Hunchback never was a favorite of mine, I've never sat through the whole movie without getting up do do something else then going back to watching wherever it was at that moment.

Just about every musical sequence in Mulan.

The tune itself is quite catchy, but there is something generally about Bambi I dislike.
Same with non-cheese products.

I don't feel accused (

), but I honestly do not like
Atlantis. I can understand my innitial comment probably came across as something a troll would say, something radical.
But, I went and saw it opening day and found it to be completely insipid, something that I would expect to come out of the mid-70's of Disney animation. Yeah, it has adventure, but none of it is exciting to me. Character development tries to be stong, but it falls flat. As a result, I find the movie boring. It should have this epic quality to it, but I think much of it feels pedestrian.
And let it be said that I despise it when people "jump on the bandwagon." I can't tell you how many times I've talked to people who innitially had one opinion of a movie, and once the good or bad hype reared its head, they had a complete turn-around. I'm not saying I'm immune to this, but I try never to act this way. I certainly don't form my opinion to fit the collective mold of most people's.

I personally never got into Treasure Planet -- maybe it's becuase I had read the book and seen the Disney movie from the 1950s several times. Since I knew what was going to happen the whole way through, it was up to the characters, animation, or originality of the production to catch me. All three failed. just my opion....
