Beauty a. t. Beast 3-d conversion featurette

Hey everyone,
The other day I was at Best Buy, and on their TVs for display, they had a short video showcasing how they converted Beauty and the Beast from 2d to 3d. From what I understand, none of the blu ray releases contains any 3-d special feature.
Does anyone know of any featurette made about the conversion, and if so, where I can get it?
Thanks!!

I can't get over the fact that you abbreviated "and the" in order to save two keystrokes.

Hahaha...
Well, I originally was going to write "BATB", but I thought not everyone would get that. I thought the full title might be better, but then I was afraid of running out of space. I thought this was a good compromise between the two.
Never underestimate people's neuroses.

I typed it out in this post's very subject box and it fit. You can always try it out and if it doesn't fit, THEN abbreviate. It works! : )

I saw the same clip at Best Buy the other night (with no audio) and assumed it was included with the 3D version of the Blu-ray. But I guess it wasn't?

Those silly, silly home video people don't seem to know what they're doing.

Well... I dont have the 3D version. I was one of the dumb ones who bought the 2d blu ray combo back.
But from what I understand, the 3d disc has ONLY the movie and nothing else. ANd the other discs are the same as the other combo packs.
Maybe I should contact best buy and ask for their featurette?

My dad owns a 3-d tv. there is a function on it that you convert regular tv to 3-d if you want. it does not have to be a 3-d show or movie to begin with. you can also take off the 3-d to watch movies or shows that are in 3-d, but want to watch in 2-d.

Automatic 2d to 3d conversions are very crappy, especially for hand drawn animation. don't think for a second that its anywhere near the same as something as what the studios put out. They would not be spending millions on conversions if it were that simple.

Kyle said, Disney didn't do that. They did a much better and more expensive process of using special technology to individually add roundness or dimension to the flat hand-drawn figures.

Ok, this will show how geeky I am.
I just went to best buy to ask if they had a dvd of the loop of stuff they show on their Tvs. They told me they don't, that Best Buy broadcasts to all the stores via satellite, but that the BATB clip would be coming on soon.
So I stayed. Half hour, watching every damn clip. And the BATB thing never came on. Guess its not being promoted anymore. Guess we lost it :(

Aw. Well, you know Disney, they keep their stuff forever. It'll show up again someday...when we are wiser...when the world's older...
