...and around 20 minutes from Wizart Animation’s 3D animated film The Snow Queen which has been produced in a Russian and English version and will be presented in its final cut at the forthcoming AFM.
I bet after revealing the final cut, Wizart would probably, and finally, show the image of the Snow Queen herself...I hope.

http://translate.google.com/translate?s ... pen-bablo/
On the far bank, and only 3 of January, we will see the U.S. release of Life of Pi and MOVIE 43. But, again, next to them will be our, domestic Snow Queen, produced "Bazelevs" together with "Fox." That looks really, just as Europeans.
I believe that 20th Century Fox has inspiration to distribute Wizart's, "The Snow Queen." However, the U.S. release has not been mentioned yet. I also believe that it's only the European release.

Presentation winter kinosezona from "Aurora Film"

http://translate.google.com/translate?s ... rora_film/
The guests in the cozy Kiev cinema "Oscar," the company "Aurora-Film" presented guests immediately 5 new projects. And one and all relevant, expected and actively discussed by critics. These films, "Nightingale the Robber" (rolling 22 November), "Ticket to VEGAS" (December 27), "Gentlemen, good luck!" (December 27), "MOVIE 43" (January 3) and cartoon "The Snow Queen" (January 3).

Support movies of the new season came actor and screenwriter Ivan Okhlobystin, who played a major role in "Nightingale the Robber" (directed by Yegor Baranov), and the voice of the troll in the movie "The Snow Queen" (directed by Maxim Sveshnikov) and actress Marina Petrenko played the main role in the 2012 film "Gentlemen, good luck!" (directed by Alexander Baranov and Dmitry Kiselev).

Journalists filled the entire auditorium theater and were looking forward to the appearance of the "star" guests. And very soon, accompanied by Diana Yurinova and Ruslan Tatarintseva of the company "Bazelevs" appeared actress Marina Petrenko, actor, director, screenwriter, playwright and producer - Ivan Okhlobystin.

Had the wonderful cartoon "The Snow Queen," and lamented the fact that the role of the Princess he does not trust, no matter how he asked, Ivan went to the auditorium. There, he along with everyone wearing 3D-glasses, looked long clips from the cartoon. Troll, which announced Ivan turned out just adorable. And in January, when the cartoon will be released, it will be just another children's favorite character. Over cartoon voice acting actor did not work the first time, and plans to take up the case more closely, when it hits the actor's pension.

Ivan Okhlobystin:
I was entrusted to sound goblin. I did not like him - a nasty creature. But those who make the cartoon, he - favorite character. I understand them, because in all of us - children, within each of us has a favorite toy, a memory. And a large share of those memories occupy cartoons.

On this day, Ivan presented one more project - the movie "Nightingale the Robber," where he screenwriter, actor and producer. Only the director's chair, Ivan gave the talented young director - Yegor Baranov. Guests of the evening saw the film entirely and left the theater happy.

Ivan Okhlobystin:
The film "Nightingale the Robber" I advise to look twice, as many times will open only after the second viewing. The first will attack ecstatic delight, and the second will take pleasure in that you self-aware as a person.

From myself would like to note that a short teaser for "Snow Queen" has intrigued even adults. First of all, thanks to the high quality of the animation - animation created by young talented animators of the companies Wizart Animation and Inlay Film. The professionalism of the team was assessed on merit. Above all praise troll speaking voice Ivan Ohlobystina.

On stage a ceremonial signing of the contract between the company "Bazelevs" (creator of the movie "Gentlemen, good luck," and distributors cartoon "The Snow Queen"), and the group of companies "Aurora". So, these wonderful Motion Films now exactly and will soon rise to the Ukrainian rental.

Actress Marina Petrenko, together with the director of marketing and distribution of high-profile Ruslan Tatarintseva presented "Gentlemen, good luck!" From producer Timur Bekmambetov. Marina surprised crowd that greeted him in fluent Ukrainian. Rising star of Russian cinema - Ukrainian. Overcoming aerophobia, Marina arrived in Kiev and for two days gave interviews to the best Ukrainian publications:

Marina Petrenko:
"Gentlemen, good luck!" - Is not a remake of a classic. In the film, added a lot of "surprises" and even a new storyline - a love story that develops between the protagonist Vaska (which performed Sergei Bezrukov) and my character - Lieutenant Police seeking a stolen treasure from the museum.

Unfortunately, Michael Galustyan unable to come personally to present the film "Ticket to VEGAS," in which he played the title role. But, nevertheless, estimate teaser picture co-production of Russia and the U.S. public could.

"MOVIE 43" intrigued the audience truly stellar and unexpected cast: Halle Berry, Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Emma Stone, Chloe Moretz, and more - all in one explosive comedy, which will appear in Ukrainian cinemas already January 3, 2013 .

After the official part of the guests went on a celebratory banquet, where he immediately came to celebrate the New Year. Snowmen, Snow Maiden and Father Frost and the Snow Queen herself entertained at the cinema "Oscar." In the hall, of course, there were the Christmas tree, decorated with garlands, and festive dinner with Olivier and champagne. As it should be at the holidays, guests left the cinema "Oscar" with gifts and in good spirits.
Both of these sites have been posted on Facebook by both Wizart Animation and The Snow Queen. Thank you. Sorry that it's foreign.

I mean this in a completely unbiased way. That looks incredibly ugly and horribly designed. The girl looked fine, but the Queen is an eyesore.

I would like to agree with you estefan, the queen is really ugly, but regardless of that, I cant wait to see it on theaters. I hope this movie would be picked up by a big company, like FOX...

But anyway, here's the direct trailer from their official page:

Well her hair could use some work. And didn't Mother Gothel from Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," became ugly as she ages to her normal self? Also, isn't Lady Tremaine ugly in Disney's, "Cinderella," as well. Because I can tell by her wrinkles. By the way, thanks for the video. I went to the site, and couldn't post the video. Instead, I've posted the site. How did you get that video? Just curious.

P.S. The Snow Queen ALMOST looks naked. She wears a dress, but to me it doesn't look like it fully covers her breasts. That could use some work as well.

'The Snow Queen': For Timur, a zigzag to children's animation
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/mo ... 6027.story
EXCLUSIVE: With "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" now safely in the rearview mirror, Timur Bekmambetov is tackling a new and rather different project -- the genre auteur is coming on to co-produce and distribute a Russian-made 3-D animation movie called "The Snow Queen."

The independent film, which is the product of a Russian company called Wizart, will be seeking distribution in the U.S. at the upcoming American Film Market. (Bekmambetov's film company Bazelevs is distributing in Russia, where it will be a wide release for the holidays.)

"Snow Queen" derives from the Hans Christian Andersen fable. It concerns a prince who is kidnapped by the evil monarch of the title, and a princess who sets out across a frozen tundra to rescue him. Though some of the film's elements (wisecracking animals and such), seem conventional, the animation looks strikingly good for something that was produced so far from Hollywood. (You can check out the trailer above.)

The movie is based on the same fairy tale as "Frozen," a project Disney is prepping for American screens; it will be interesting to see which distributors take a flyer on "Snow Queen" in light of that, and how that in turn affects the Disney release.

The last time Bekmambetov guided an animated film, Shane Acker's "9," it resulted in so-so box office but a spate of good press and a group of awards nominations, including from the Annie Awards and the Producers Guild of America.

"Snow Queen" is the latest movie from an indie animation studio to try to gain a foothold in the U.S. (see under: last year's Oscar nominees "Chico & Rita" and “A Cat in Paris”). Bekmambetov seems to think so too -- in a statement he said that “In my view, there are many talented people in Russia who in future may become competitors to such studios as Pixar or DreamWorks."
“The Snow Queen” Official Trailer
http://www.cartoonbrew.com/feature-film ... 72459.html
No, not Disney’s Frozen – This is the Russian version of The Snow Queen, of which we posted a teaser from back in February. Here’s the latest “official trailer” for the film, this one playing up the “comedy” elements.

The Snow Queen will be released in Stereoscopic 3D and was produced on a budget of $7 million (US$). Moscow’s Wizart Animation is the producer/production company. More information and artwork can be found on the official Snow Queen web site.
I will not post the video since it is already posted yesterday. Note to estefan: You're going to LOVE the criticism that the people commented on Cartoon Brew. Feel free to join them to criticize as well.
