Kida or Eilonwy

Alot of people think that these two should be in the princess line because they are in fact actual princesses by birth unlike some of the gals in the actual line. If you had to pick who would you rather be in the line?

Kida all the way.
She is IMO a MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better character overall, and her involvement in the line could add more diversity. Disney could do a more athletic spin of merchandise that features Pocahontas, Mulan, and Kida for example.

I'm pretty much neutral on both of them. If I had to make a choice (perhaps with the threat of a bullet to the head or something), I'd choose Eilonwy, since I recall being more interested by her character when I watched the Black Cauldron than with Kida when I watched Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
That's probably a minority opinion, huh.

kida, simply for her more unusual design.

Kida, I suppose. I like her better and she's about the same age as the other "Princesses." But I really think both of them deserve to be in the line (along with Tiger Lily

).

Same opinion here.

I gotta side with Eilonwy. For me, she was one of the best things about Black Cauldron, even if she wasn't particularly important to the story. While Kida, well, honestly, nothing about Atlantis pleased me very much. Well, maybe a few things, but Kida was not one of them.

Kida, with no doubt. She's one of the most underrated Disney heroines ever. Not because of her hotness and design, but she has an really interesting personality. She's vivacious, yet passionate and I love her voice.
The other gal didn't do much for me. I'm sorry.

Since I've never seen Kida's movie, I have zero shame about disagreeing with everyone else and saying Eilonwy. She may sort of look too much like Alice but I still refuse to see Repunzel as an official Disney Princess. I swear I'm not toally spacing: wasn't that movie computer animated anyway? In my book, she can replace her.

Why would Rapunzel's movie being CGI be a factor that she can't be an "official Disney Princess"? Is there some written rule that only hand drawn Disney characters should have that position?
Anyway, I like both but if I had to pick I would pick Eilonwy. She young and closer to the little girls' age the franchise is aim at. She be perfect princess for the girls to be more related to.

Because I'm a snob.
Actually, I don't really take this seriously. But if I did, I would want conformity (cue *
whip lash* sound effect) and according to my superficial stylistic preferences, Repunzel is out. I'm also not a big fan of Tiana. 2 things are enormously not in her favor: one that she spents the majority of the movie as a frog and the other than she's genuinely a token figure of the Princess franchise. Her being black was a marketing move and had nothing to do with serious or strong storytelling.

I like Kida’s design better, but I would pick Eilonwy. She has that whole “charming British girl” thing going on, even if her character feels only half-baked. Kida’s voice annoys me. All I can think about is Rugrats when I hear her.
But, if we’re talking about the
line, then Kida would be a better addition because they already have Alice. Who needs the knock-off when they have the original?

I loathe the Disney Princess Line with passion, but I thought I'd just weigh in and say I like Eilonwy far better than Kida.

Eilonwy would fit better with the line design and character wise than Kida so I'd pick her out of fear of Kida getting some hideious bling covered outfit in order to force her to fit with the others on any given backpack or luchbox.
Plus Eilonwy has the magic power angle to sell which while not explained in the movie beyond the buable could be in merch.

I vote for Princess Kidagakash. She was one of the few characters in the misguided "Atlantis" that I actually cared about or found interesting in some form. I felt had the movie focused more on her, and less on the awful expedition crew it would have greatly benefited from it instead of looking like an animated knock off of "Stargate". I loved Kida's design (She reminds me of Storm from X-Men) and her voice performance by Cree Summer.
Princess Eilonwy will always be a looser in my book, for one reason and one reason alone. Her voice. There is just something about Susan Sheridan's voice performance in the movie that makes my skin crawl. Her design is boring as well, but I might have been more lenient on that, had it not been for the awful acting job.

I despise the Disney princess line, but for the purpose of conversation, I prefer Eilonwy. She isn't as important to the story, but she's more interesting. I also like her design more. Kida's coloring is too strange, and her mouth makes some very ugly shapes.

Definitely Kida for me because I get pissed off at Eilonwy and consider her the human version of Faline from Bambi in terms of being gigglish. I bet Eilonwy would not understand the Atlantis language if either were to meet up.

If it was book Eilonwy I'd go with her. Movie Eilonwy isn't really bad or anything but she's lacking a lot of the personality and quirks that the original Eilonwy had. She's also lacking her rich backstory and heritage in the film.
Kida was never a favorite of mine but she's grown a lot on me the past few months. I think I've realized there's a lot of Pocahontas and Esmeralda in her and those two are some of my favorites so as such, my regard for Kida has grown exponentially.

I've always found Faline very annoying as well, although I feel differently about Eilonwy.
