Is BATB: The Enchanted Christmas really a Disney film?

I'd always read before that
Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas - like all of Disney's direct-to-vido animated fare - was made by DisneyToon studios. However, TV tropes (
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/M ... verStudios) and wikipedia (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Rover_Studios) both claim it was made by Red Rover Studios. What's that about? Did Disney hire Red Rover to animate this film for them?

I don't currently own the film and am unable to check the credits, but Disney often farmed out portions of the DTV productions to outside studios.

Yes, so it still counts as a Disney film even if they did that. Disney also technically out-sourced some animation for Enchanted, to a studio not owned by Disney, but both films were made by Disney, by Disney people working for Disney, it's owned and produced by Disney. It's not like "The Wild" which was just "distributed" by Disney.

But that's what 411314 is suggesting. Sure it's made for Disney, but it's not made by Disney nor by "Disney People", but perhaps Red Rover Studios by Red Rover Studios people.
I am quite interesting in finding out, as I did find Enchanted Christmas as having a less cheap and plastically feel about it.

Of course it is! What kind of question is that? That would be like asking if Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Bolt or Tangled were Disney movies.

.........
bad example as those movies were made by Walt Disney Animation Studio.
The one original poster was talking about is fact that the movie wasn't made by WDAS or Toon Disney Studio.
