I was thinking about this very topic last week and trying to remember their Thanksgiving week release. My favorites would have to be The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., and Enchanted. I'm hopeful that The Muppets will join them!

Mine would be the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, the Santa Clause, 101 Dalmatians, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, National Treasure, Santa Clause 3, Enchanted, Bolt, Old Dogs, Tangled and hopefully, like Luke, the Muppets. The Muppets, however for us is a January release, unless I can get into an advanced screening (meant for children, but no harm in asking (when I remember).

The Incredibles was also released in November just closer to the beginning of the month. I still associate it with November and watch it every Thanksgiving while the rest of my family watched NFL (which I don't really care for).

Good catch. I realized I missed that one after I typed it and had gone to work. Updated now.

Great topic. These are my top picks for my favorite Thanksgiving Disney film. And my basis is not just the film, but the how the film fit in with the Holiday season and just my memories and how fond they were of the film at that time or if I even saw it in theaters.

2007--Enchanted
2004--The Incredibles, National Treasure
2001--Monsters Inc.

It’s kind of a lot, but I’m proud to say I saw them all in theatres, except Oliver and Company (because I wasn’t born) and Treasure Planet (which I wanted to see, but my parents weren’t interested). I try to make it every year to see their Thanksgiving release, since a lot of the time, it’s their best of the year. My all time favorite Thanksgiving releases would have to be Toy Story and TS2, because I remember going to see them as a girl's day out to the theatre with my mom, sister, and aunt.
