DVDizzy Forum

As you may know, Jackoleen before leaving the forum, vandalized the threads she authored by replacing the original title with a triple X. Since this makes it very difficult to search for a topic, I'd like to ask for a moderator to provide titles again to these threads. To help, I'm listing all the XXX threads and providing a suitable title. Also, I'd like to propose to ban Jackoleen so she won't be able to do this again in the future in case she ever wishes to come back.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Too bad no one spotted or reported it earlier. I'm changing these now. Link #56 is a duplicate of #55 - got the right thread for that one?

Well I think it was also mainly because no one shared Jackoleen's desire to really talk about those subjects she did, and certainly not very positively. She hardly ever got any positive responses to her messages., and some people even got very rude/mean to her. Most of us got frustrated with quite a few things she did, but hardly any of us calmly told her what we wished she would change.

I shot her a message just after her mass "XXX"ing of threads, telling her that it was sad she was leaving but that it may indeed be better for her to go where people shared her interests and would actually like to talk about the things she did, and to not give up hope on finding some people like that.

I think a certain amount of her threads should just be deleted, the ones no one responsed to positively or seriously.

I second that. Luke, you should definitely delete the threads with the numbers: 8, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, 37, 38, 42, 46, 47, 59.

Check them if you wish; I think you'll agree with me that they need to be deleted.

Also, the number 18 thread needs to be renamed. It was my mistake. The thread is not about Del Toro's movie but about a completely different movie.

No, she never replied. But she read it, as it went to my sent box. So, I just hope if she left for good that she's got something hopeful to think about.

What is with the glitches on the forum, now? I thought they were only from trying to fix the forum for Google? The search engine "search topic title only" option and merging need to be fixed real bad!

Nothing to do with Google as far as I can tell. Here's Luke's reply to my pointing out the search function issues from this thread:

It's my guess that the old Appalachia skin might not be compatible with the most current forum update; it wouldn't hurt to disable the skin to see if it resolves any of the issues.
