Interesting find... although as someone unfamiliar with Boston culture in the 1940s, what's the actual end of the "joke", and why was it removed?

Pretty interesting! I love lost stuff. It makes me wonder if the footage still exists anywhere.
Basically, he was saying that they used his whiskers/beard for a diaper. One of the commenters on the post said he worked on the DVD and looked through loads of old stuff some of which was thought to be lost and he thinks that it may have been cut from the film before animation even. It's not like that does not happen today (ie Tangled's many missing verses).
