I don't know, I think "Be Prepared" is pretty popular!
As for 'Forgotten Songs'? I can't think of any at the moment..

My choice for forgotten song is from a forgotten Walt Disney Classic:
So Dear To My Heart - "Lavender Blue Dilly Dilly"

Looking for Romance (I Bring You a Song) from Bambi
Love from Robin Hood
The Phony King of England from Robin Hood
Streets of Gold from Oliver and Company
Let Me Be Good to You from The Great Mouse Detective

by Disney's Divinity
"Oh, Sing Sweet Nightingale" from Cinderella
"Just Around the Riverbend" from Pocahontas
These both get overshadowed by the main songs (CotW and AWIADYHM). Also,
"Fathoms Below" from The Little Mermaid
"My Own Home" from The Jungle Book
"A Star is Born" from Hercules

Overshadowed is definitely the better word for it. I agree, most of these songs have gotten the slightly shorter end of the stick popularity wise. But, thanks to UD, I think we know all these songs.
Also just feel like saying: "Les Poissons" is hilarious and is fast becoming one of my favorite scenes in the film.

'My Own Home' is my favourite JB song!
I also love the songs featured in The Rescuers, which I think are certainly overlooked and under appreciated.
Good Company (- is that what's it's called?) from Oliver & Co.
Heaven's Light from Hunchback.
There's also that 'song' that Madame speak-sings in The Aristocats. I believe it was originally planned to be an actual song. You can clearly hear a strong, pretty, melody throughout the scene.

That one really confused me for about a minute.
The DVD calls the song / chapter: "Today's the Day." Thanks a lot, Disney!

It's strange how some of the songs on here are some of my favorites.
A few other examples:
"Thomas O'Malley" from The Aristocats
"Appreciate the Lady" from The Fox and the Hound
"Alice in Wonderland" opening credit song from Alice in Wonderland
"Fidelity Fiduciary Bank" from Mary Poppins
"Something There" from Beauty and the Beast
"Will the Sun Ever Shine Again" from Home on the Range
"My Funny Friend and Me" from Emperor's New Groove
"Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide" from Pinocchio
anything from Chicken Little

Yeah, it's funny...reading through some of these postings, I have to say some of the songs, I had to think hard to remember what song they were and where in the film they happened!
So yeah, not every song can be a hit.
I have to say tho..."gonna take you there" (or whatever its called) from The Princess and the Frog IS ONE OF THE WORST SONGS I HAVE EVER HEARD/SEEN IN FILM.
THe entire scene is pointless...the lyrics are repetitive, don't communicate anything, and all the song does is display a "funny" parade of Ray's family. I was almost angry when that scene happened. Randy Newman at one of his lows...
