This event raises money for cancer research. It is overnight, so it becomes a little tent town as thousands of people set up camp. There is free food and entertainment, along with raffles, silent auctions and bake sales. There are also luminaria (in memory of those who lost their fight) and a survivor walk. There is a $25 registration fee that helps for research, t-shirts and food. It truly is an incredible experience and has raised millions of dollars. If you can't walk the whole time, that's fine. Come and go as you need. If you can't attend, donations are welcome too.


Location: GoodYear Ballpark in Southwest Valley, AZ

Time: 12pm-6am (It's an overnight)

That's really nice that you're doing this. I volunteered at one in my area a few years ago and it was a really good experience.) Although I prepared so many of those luminaries that I never want to see one ever again.

I'm glad you enjoyed your experience, I'm doin this for my aunt/uncle who passed away from Breast Cancer and Pancreas cancer respectivly.
