Here are my opinions!

Favourite Character, Scene and Song in Mulan

Character- Mulan
Sweet, Courageous, Funny... must be one of my top 5 Disney Princesses

Scene- The final showdown between Mulan and Shan Yu
(Get off the Roof, Get off the Roof, Get off the Roof!

)

Song- Honor to Us All,
I just love how unprepared Mulan is and you can feel the tention/anxiety throughout the whole community!

Character: Mulan, definitely. The Emperor, Grandmother Fa, and Mushu are other favorites. I think Mulan is a lot like Pocahontas, similarly reserved, but not quite as mature and, as a result, a little more vibrant. Also, Shan-Yu is probably my favorite “serious” male villain from Disney. He’s just chilling, and I’m glad they gave Mulan an adversary on par with what a male protagonist would usually have to deal with.

Scene: Mulan's Decision, hands down. Love the score there. But to give a more interesting answer, second place would probably go to the climactic scene where the Emperor (and the rest of China) bow to Mulan's bravery.

Song: "Honor To Us All." I've just always loved the sound to this song. I also like how it simultaneously shows the good and bad sides of communal values. Some of the lyrics to "Reflection" aren't on par with other Disney "I want" songs; it's better as a pop song than as a song in a musical.

Scene: The Hun attack on the Great Wall, also the scenes with Chi Fu are really funny ("Insubordinate ruffians! You men owe me a new pair of slippers! And I do not squeal like a girl.")

Character: I love both Mulan and Mushu (and Mulan's animal friends, ha)

Scene: Tough call. I think I like the Girl Worth Fighting For scene and the part immediately after, in which things get all dramatic. And I like the part where Mulan is the only one who figures out how to get to the top of the pole. I haven't watched it in a while, so these are the ones that came to mind. Also like the scene where Mulan is trying to bathe, and the guys show up, and when she first meets them and a fight starts up.

Song: A Girl Worth Fighting For, though I love all the songs. This was a really underrated movie, I think. Actually though, I blame Pocahontas for the loss of interest in Disney, and the public just plain quitting on Disney because they felt it was getting too "mature" with Poca and Hunchback. Even though Hunchback was phenomenal. Pocahontas was just okay though, until they put that cut song back in, which I think made it excellent! But, sorry for getting off topic.

Scene: When they are training for the battle and Shang sings 'I'll Make A Man Out of You', it's really inspiring. And when Mulan makes her decision, when she sings 'Reflection'

Character- Mulan. One of the best herones created by Disney. But unfortunatly underated alot in terms of her general exposure.

Song- Reflection.

Scene- The final scene with her and her father. It's just so sweet.

Oh and quang25thinh super creepy sig pic! I used to get so freaked out as a kid when that happened!!
