I have been having a debate with few of my friends lately as to the original lineup of TGIF. I know for sure that FULL HOUSE, FAMILY MATTERS and PERFECT STRANGERS were 3 of the original 4. So please help my out if you know the remaining show. it is killing me. And no it is not STEP BY STEP that came later. Thanks!

Yeah if you have any questions about classic 80's tv shows go down to Luke. But if you want to know about the TV shows that were made from the 50's-70's come to me.

I do recall just the 10 of us. But I do not know about Mr. Belvedire. I liked that show and don't recall it ever being on TGIF. Was it even an ABC show? I thought it was cancelled before TGIF started in 90.

TGIF started in 1988 and the original lineup was Full House, Perfect Strangers, Mr. Belvedere and Just the Ten of Us. Just the Ten of Us was replaced by Family Matters in 1989. I'm still researching all the lineups of TGIF. If you know any official lineups, please post.

Some shows that came later were... Dinosaurs, Hanging with Mr. Cooper and of course step by step. There were also a few shows that didnt last a season.

Sabrina was on there for a while... and The Adventures of Mary Kate & Ashley or something like that, maybe?... some short-lived show with Bawkey (sp?) from Perfect Strangers was on either TGIF or CBS' short-live rip-off of it... of course, Boy Meets World... and I seem to remember something with a magic carpet and a genie?

I remember a show called Baby Talk being on TGIF for at least a season back in the late 80's/early 90's.

There was also a show that had the same concept of 2 and a half men

Another show that was on for a season and Sara Gilbert was the daughter of a single dad and they lived in a New York apartment

Teen Angel, Brother's Keeper.... and Hiller & Diller was part of TGIF briefly, too.

Luke, I remember all three of those names, but Teen Angel is the only one I can actually still picture in my mind.

Oh! And wasn't Eric Von Detton in a show in which he was the only guy in a house full of girls?

Odd Man Out, that's right! I'm sure Brink! liked that.

Brother's Keeper was the "Two and a Half Men" before "Two and a Half Men" and "Hiller & Diller" was Richard Lewis and Kevin Nealon.

baby talk was on there for a while.

i always liked family matters {considering it was a spinoff of perfect strangers} but then it just became too much Urkel. There was no more family, heck one of the daughters even disappeared {Judy} and they didn't even mention it.

I remember watching Full House, Step by Step, Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Clueless, Teen Angel, You Wish, Dinosaurs and many more but can't recall them right now.

TGIF was great good it's back again, but the new shows suck.

Was Baby Talk the show with the guy from Perfect Strangers, and that Alex kid? (That may have been on CBS' TGIF knock-off, not sure)

Speaking of the over-Urkelization... I for one have NO complaints about pre-CBS Family Matters. I watched a documentary on Reginald Vel Johnson (Carl) last year, and they interviewed the entire cast. They were all so bitter!! It seemed that way, at least. They blamed Jaleel White for ruining their show and their career (and Reg complained of the cop stereotype too). It was almost amusing watching them carry on like they did, but I do see their point. I loved the show though, and can't complain. Everyone on there was great.

Who thinks that ABC should have a new or better TGIF Lineup.
I really think that the new Lineup sucks.

Have shows for teenagers or kids.
Even The WB has a better comedy block.

Bronson Pinchot was in a CBS sitcom called Meego that was on Fridays (briefly). There was also a show called Homeroom that supposedly was part of TGIF: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096612/

MMP- I agree, the new TGIF really sucks. I understand what they were hoping for in reviving it, but they need to get TGIF-like programming if they want to do it over again.

BTW, I remember a time when Home Improvement was the #1 show in America, not Friends... was HI a part of TGIF? I don't think so, but I can't remember what night it came on.
