I Wish Disney Makes a New TV Series of Mickey Mouse

Man, I wish Disney just make a new tv series starring Mickey Mouse and friends. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a cute show and they did a good job teaching preschoolers about problem solving, but they need to make a Mickey Mouse series so everybody can watch. Disney's Have A Laugh is a good start, but it little better than that. Maybe similar to House of Mouse. Also, they should make a tv series of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit too. I hope Disney has the new series for Mickey Mouse in development.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a great show for preschoolers and they do love it. One thing that I've always thought howerever is that when *some* kids grow up, they grow to hate things that they really loved when they were younger. In order to prevent this from happening, it would be a good idea to have another Mickey Mouse show.
I like the idea of having a Mickey Mouse adventures show that would have the same vibe as the Disney Afternoon shows had, like Duck Tales. Make Mickey like an Indiana Jones type of adventurer.

I just wish they'd release "House of Mouse" on DVD! But yes, I think a new shows, being the same quality as the old Disney Afternoon shows would be a great idea!

Actually, he *was* in the 1930's and 1940's newspaper comics by Floyd Gottfredson! Read for yourself, they've lost nothing of their magic:

Disney just has to adapt those stories. But, as we all know, Disney doesn't do "Disney Afternoon"-type shows anymore. Instead, they desperately try to imitate the sub-par 'animation' (or what has to pass for it) and dumb storylines of the Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon shows. They have been doing this for the past 10 years and shows like
Dave the Barbarian,
The Replacements and
Brandy and Mr. Whiskers are the sad, sad, sad result. You can't even tell a Disney cartoon from any other anymore. Just look at the new Seven Dwarfs cartoon series. It's pathetic.

I'd settle for even a handful of new shorts staring the gang if they don't want to commit to a new show. I need more goofy shorts especially. How to hook up your home theater was great, why stop there?

Ya, I was disappointed after "How to Hook Up your Hoe Theater" that it seems to have ended there. I mean what the hey? Come on Disney!

I didn't think that commercial for HD-tv's was that impressive.

I know! I just hope 7D will create controversy and it better be flopped, like it did to My Friends Tigger and Pooh.

Cool site! Duck Tales was based on the old Scrooge comics so they could just do the same thing here.

Now, I don't know how true it is, but I found this link from the other thread:
https://www.disneyconsumerproducts.com/ ... l®ion=0
And this one says:
Preschool:
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
In February 2011, the Clubhouse got a new address…on Disney Junior! Ratings for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse are up by double-digit percentages over year-ago. Look out for new content through 2015!
All-new themed movie events will begin in Fall 2011 on Disney Junior, optimizing reach and frequency with viewers. Marketing support includes:
Week-long themed event
Heavy rotation through Holiday 2011 for MMCH Space Adventure episode
Coordinated DVD launch in October 2011
TV advertised Toy line
10 All-New Mousekercize shorts
Does this mean that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse will end it's run in 2015?

My pleasure. The site also hosts all Donald and Uncle Scrooge comics done by Carl Barks. Mandatory reading, if you ask me.

Yes, though I'd hope they wouldn't butcher the Gottfredson comics like they did with Barks' stories.

There's so much material you could use from comics in a Mickey Mouse adventurer series from Gottfredson to the various Italian comics. Recast the Phantom Blot, seeing as John O'Hurley never really sounded right in the role to me, and he could easily be elevated to a proper Disney Villain spot he deserves.
Also, animated versions of Eega Beeva, the evil monkey scientist trio of Ecks, Triplex and Duplex, actually do something with Morty and Ferdie, and the paranormal world of Italy's X-Mickey series.

Actually, I think the Mickey Mouse comics started to go downhill after the introduction of Eega Beeva, because they were no longer about *Mickey*! It's funny how the newspaper comics mirror the development of Mickey in the cartoons: from adventurer to boring suburban housefather.

A couple months ago, I just wrote a letter to Disney if they can make new series for Mickey and friends. But they didn't respond, and they're making me suffer with my obsession.
This makes me want to say,
Disney, this is a ultamantum! You make some new TV hand drawn series for Mickey Mouse & friends for everybody to watch, or else!
Don't worry, I didn't put that on the letter.

I'm not Polizzi! I'm not crazy! I'm just a desperate Disney fan. And that ultamantum thing is a joke. I didn't put any threats on the letter. I suggestted nicely and I told then that I was disappointed that they're aiming Mickey Mouse to preschoolers. So cut me some slack.

Hahah I was just kidding... the way you wrote it sounded exactly like how he writes. Polizzi isn't crazy though... he just used to be.

I've heard a new Mickey Mouse film is in the works. Let's see what comes from that...
