That's funny! Anyway, I thought that the Raccoon looked pretty cool in the footage that I saw. It was just that 30 second clip that they showed at comic con but it was good stuff.

Just saw it and loved it. I hope they can do as good with Star Wars. For anyone who hasn't heard yet, you have to stay through the credits for a funny bonus scene.

Any Marvel fan knows to always stay through the credits. Just standard protocol.
I know that I say this about almost any new Marvel movie, but this is seriously the best Marvel movie that I have seen! I (and the rest of the cinema audience) laughed and laughed, and I cried several times. Not only great action and visuals, but great pacing with the story and characters that you alomst instantly start to care about. This movie was a bit emotional as well, it really had a heart.

I was extremely impressed with this. If you can take the right approaches, you can make any familiar story and make something truly special. And I think Guardians of the Galaxy works in that regard.

That post-credits scene was amazing and completely unexpected! A great way to end such a wonderful movie.

As everyone has already stated, this is a fantastic film. Just go see it! Funny, lots of action and great special effects. Not to mention a great group of characters.

Yep, it was a fantastic movie from start to finish. Funny, emotional, action-packed, well-acted and well-paced; it reminded me of the original Star Wars a lot. Killer soundtrack too. The villain was somewhat too theatrical for my liking, but that's my only gripe.
Howard the Duck cameo at the end was quite unexpected.
Wow, this has gotten great reviews (from both critics and audiences) and has done stellar business at the box office so far. It's great to see it doing so well. I was already looking forward to it, but now I'm pumped. Hopefully I can catch it this weekend!
Personally, I think Captain America: The Winter Soldier is Marvel's best yet. It would be great if Guardians is on that same level. After a lackluster start to Phase 2 with Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World (I'd say these are 2 of the bottom 3 Marvel films), it's great to see them doing so well this year.
