Hahaha! You was right! I'm guessing Rocket Raccoon is going to be fully CG but hopefully they'll do Live Action with CG (They could get around the height differences easily, by using the same method for Alice in Wonderland)

I'm glad that Gamora has been confirmed! Should be interesting as she is the daughter of Thanos!

Also, Does anyone else think their will be more members in this Line-up or is this ALL the guardians for this movie? :)

Sotiris I did feel like that at first but I feel because the character is
so different It works well as the team is so diverse and that's what makes it exciting! (Like Groot's a Tree  ) (But still I have my concerns but Marvel and Disney know what they are doing)

Also does anybody know any information about Adam Warlock, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantis_(Ma ... >Mantis</a> and Phyka-Vell Are they in the film or out? I hope they do appear they seem really great characters!

I'm wondering too about Adam Warlock. He does have strong ties with Thanos considering he defeated Thanos at one point. Though I'm wondering how they would make his character work for live action.

Rocket Raccoon is a pretty cool badass believe it or not. Also, he was in the recent Marvel vs Capcom 3 game too. He has been becoming more recognizable and appearing more often now.

Shame greedy money grubbing whore FOX is rebooting Fantastic Four just so they can still keep the rights even though they suck at marvel movies. Had they forgotten about it and let it expire and go back to Marvel/Disney, I'd love for FF to work nicely with Avengers and do a much more faithful Silver Surfer who also has strong ties with Thanos.

Do you think we will see The Wasp in AntMan?

That would be a great way to add them to Avengers 2

Marvel Studios' space-epic "Guardians of the Galaxy" has finally found its leading man — and if you ask us, the casting department knocked this one out of the "Park."

Deadline.com reports that Chris Pratt, best known for playing lovable goofball Andy Dwyer on the sitcom "Parks & Recreation," has landed the lead role of Star-Lord in "Guardians of the Galaxy," the August 2014 Marvel flick being directed by "Super" and "Slither" filmmaker James Gunn. Officials at Marvel Studios and representatives for Pratt have not yet confirmed the news.

Chris Pratt is awesome. He's definitely breaking through now, with the continued critical success of Parcs & Rec and his bit part in Zero Dark Thirty.

He'll make a very charismatic leading man.

I love Chris Pratt... I haven't seen Zero Dark Thirty yet, but Andy is my favorite character in Parks and Rec. I just don't know if it will be easy to see him as anyone besides Andy.

I don't think you need to worry much since Star-lord wears a mask most of the time.

Star lord is the guy in the front of the pic with two guns

John C. Reilly Is Guardians Of The Galaxy's Ronan The Accuser
http://www.cinemablend.com/new/John-C-R ... 38077.html

Here's some info on the character on Wikipedia
Ronan was born on the planet Hala, the capital of the Kree Empire in the Greater Magellanic Cloud. Ronan is a member of the alien Kree race and a member of the Accuser Corps, who are the Kree equivalent of military governors and jurists. His rise through the ranks was extraordinary, and he eventually became the third-most powerful being in the Kree Empire. The Supreme Intelligence appointed him "Supreme Accuser of the Kree Empire," and in this role he is known simply as "Ronan the Accuser".
Also the link from Cinema Blend says this
Deadline does note, though, that in some versions of the comics Ronan is the son of Thanos, whom we first met as the purple bad guy at the end of The Avengers. We've been promised that Thanos will be part of the action in Avengers 2, but Thanos's role in Guardians is currently much fuzzier. You can guess that Ronan The Accuser makes a confirmed link… but I think we've all learned from Marvel that the second you assume you know what they're up to, they change it up entirely.
It will be interesting if he does remain a Kree and if so perhaps Thanos has the Kree working for him.

Also I'm not sure if John C Reilly is a good fit for this character, of course I don't know much about Ronan to know. I remember when I played a game called Heroclix I pulled him out of a booster pack and he was a very rare figure which was called a unique. That was many years ago

eh I also think John Reilly is weird choice too but then again it nothing compared to Amazing Spiderman 2's Rhino and Shocker casting LOLOLOL.

I don't think they're make him the son of Thanos either considering we're having Gamora in who is Thanos' adoptive daughter. So there's the connection between him and the heroes in this movie. Speaking of her, J Scott Campbell, my one of my favorite artist and biggest inspiration recently did a Gamora pic:

Deadline has confirmed rumors that Wreck-It Ralph star John C. Reilly has been cast as Ronan the Accuser in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Of course, they did so in error and in the process embarrassed themselves and everyone silly enough to take them at their word (yeah, that’s us, too).

John C. Reilly Firmed For Rhomann Dey, Leader Of The Nova Corps, In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’
http://www.deadline.com/2013/06/john-c- ... he-galaxy/

If you don't want to know anything about this character at all, I've put spoiler tags on those parts. I'm not sure this is the way it will happen in the movie itself but you never know
John C. Reilly will play Rhomann Dey, leader of the Nova Corps, in Marvel Studios‘ Guardians Of The Galaxy, the James Gunn-directed franchise launch that stars Benicio Del Toro, Glenn Close, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, and Michael Rooker. He’s not playing Ronan the Accuser, the Kree Empire’s badass juror and military governor in space. According to Comicvine.com, here’s the deal on Rhomann Dey:

Rhomann Dey was the leader of the Nova Corps on the planet Xandar when the planet was destroyed by the space pirate Zorr. Seemingly everyone else was killed in the attack, including Dey’s family. Dey swore vengeance on Zorr and chased him across the galaxy, battling him along the way. He became mortally wounded and paralyzed after an encounter causing him to seek a replacement who could stop Zorr and make him pay for his crimes. His ship came into orbit of Earth, where Zorr was taking refuge, and he selected a human to inherit his power. That human was a young Richard Rider.

Rhomann Dey linked minds with Rider and explained to him the new powers he has received as well as the threat of Zorr on his planet. At first, Rider thought the encounter was a dream, but soon discovered his powers and accepted his role as Nova. While out testing them for the first time he ran into Zorr who was on a rampage in New York City. Nova decided to fulfill the one who gave him his powers dying wish and defeat Zorr. During the battle, Zorr was teleported away by Rhomann Dey himself. Dey killed Zorr before he himself died, ready to join his family and friends in the afterlife.

Plot details/spoilers below:
Keeping with the Marvel slate, our source dropped some information on GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, once again reiterating that Ronan The Accuser WILL be the film’s lead villain and that Thanos does indeed play a large role in the overall scheme of things. In terms of iconic locations, The Guardians will operate out of their base of operations, called Knowhere, a space station with the ability to teleport throughout the universe. Lastly, our source confirmed that there would be no members of THE AVENGERS featured in the film, but that it does take place in the same time/universe as the current phase of films.

I can't wait and this should be Marvel's answer to Star Wars.

Rocket Raccoon is a cool character and i think it would work.
