2011 Wave of Disney Ironpack

According to the FutureShop forums, Canada will once again be getting a few Disney ironpacks (they aren't confirmed ironpacks, but they will most likely continue from last year).
The Lion King (3D) - October 4
Bambi - October 11
Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (3D) - October 18
The Incredibles - October 25
Cars 2 (3D) - November 1
It is unconfirmed as if these are all that will be released ( it seems as if FS it learning just to release ironpacks on the newer releases, as the Toy Story 1, 2, Alice in Wonderland and Princess and the Frog ironpacks are still widely available in Canada, most likely because most people already bought the Blu-rays.), or if these will be all FS exclusives. Rumour has it that Cars 2 will be getting a ironpack release in USA Best Buy, but it has yet to be confirmed.
I will keep updating this topic as more info is released.

Augh, if they are still so widely available, why don't they send them to Best Buy here in the US. I REALLY want The Princess and the Frog one.
Also, would anyone know where I could find the Pinocchio ironpack? There are some copies that pop up here and there on ebay and some on amazon, but they are priced soooooooooo high.

Is the Princess and the Frog one still priced very high on ebay?
I havent seen any of the wave from two years ago in stores. There are about 10 of each from last years wave at my FS, excluding Alice in Wonderland, which has about 3.

I saw this on blu-ray.com... so pumped!!!
Although, there are so many that they could put out that people would pay for. Tangled, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Fox and the Hound, Fantasia... is it too much to ask??

Lion King looks very nice and hopefully we'll get it in the US. The rest I don't really care for but I am glad they are continuing with more ironpacks! I still would love a copy of the Princess and the Frog one.

Street Date - October 18th, 2011
All of this info was on the Futureshop Forums! Artwork is outstanding, so far all of these are purchases for me. The only thing that worries me is that saybinator said that the Incredibles is only 3 discs, when the current bluray release has 4 discs in it...... Hopefully he is mistaken and the second bluray w/ special features is included!!
And anyone wondering about coupons and the case size should not worry, because......
Hot off the press from MORE confirmations from Disney!
The collectible packaging SKUs are the same height and width as a standard BD amaray but have a bit more depth due to the number of discs and collectible packaging
Yes our Customers can use the coupons on the collectible SKUs. Lion King is an $8 dollar coupon. Cars 2 and Pirates 4 are a $5 coupon. Please remember that these coupons can only be redeemed in store.

:):):) Thanks saybinator and everyone over at Futureshop!!!

I'm really glad that I'll be able to pick up Lion King, Cars 2, and Pirates 4 here in the States, but I have to ask just to try and avoid going through ebay again this year... any of you Canadians willing to pick up an extra copy of Bambi and the Incredibles and ship it off? I'd be willing to pay the full price + shipping + a little extra for the trouble. Let me know! Thanks

That isn't mine ( I live in Canada), it was taken from someone on bluray.com. Apparently, they are already on sale at BestBuy for $7.50.

I went by Best Buy to look for them, but I didn't find any. I guess I'll have to give it a try again tomorrow but ask customer service this time...

I'm gonna stop by my local BB tomorrow as well. I'm taking the SKU number so they can look it up and give me a street date. I'll post any info I get.

I can't wait to get the Lion King one.. Can't say I'm dying over the other ones, but I would love to get my hands on the Pirates one also.. looks really nice!

I don't believe they are on sale currently.. The member on bluray.com said the promo shouldn't begin until 9/4. I'm guessing his BB just put them out early.
I checked my Best Buy today just in case and no luck.

Even though I'm not buying any of these, I have to say these ironpacks are gorgeous (even the inside artwork of The Lion King). I hope they'll still be this nice when Mermaid rolls around again.

After another visit to my local Best Buy, I havnt found them on the shelves early. I remember being able to pick up Beauty and the Beast's ironpack early last time. I suppose I'll just have to wait until 9/4 like everyone else.

I've read that some stores have them in the back, but can't put them out until 9/4. Looks like a few stores released them early.

Do we know if the ironpack for TLK is being made to hold all the discs from the 3D release?

I think these look wonderful! I hate that Canada has to wait until the actual Bluray comes out to get the case :/
