I had no idea that a "shaking" icon meant that I had posted on that topic! I just figured it out now, because I was wondering why some were shaking and some weren't!
ETA: More of an idiot here. I'm not sure now whether it means that I posted in a topic. So what does the "shaking" icon mean???

It can mean a lot of things.
Por ejemplo: (for example)
-- "Shame on you, Escapay"
= You are a very bad boy
-- "Nice post, Escapay"
= You should know better
-- "When will Disney ever learn"
= What a shame
-- "He is the greatest and we miss him terribly when he's not around"
= indianajdp is the greatest and we miss him terribly when he's not around
-- "I can't believe he just typed that"
= Loomis did it again (:D)
etc., etc., etc.

I think he meant the little orange "new posts" icon next to the thread topic, some of them shake...or not?
..but you are correct. That headshake was created specifically to deal with Loomis related bafflement.

The one on the forum pages next to each topic. You know, the piece of paper that shrinks and enlarges then shakes a bit.

No, the orange sheet icon is the one that means new posts, the shaking ones are for threads with over 20 replies, I believe two pages or more...

I don't think so, there are very few threads that have reached 200, but there are many "shaking" threads.

I was going to change it to 200 views/20 replies...something to do with popularity!
