Movies: I could be here all day, haha. Obviously I love Disney, which leads into animation in general, but overall, I'm a big cinephile. I'm big on oldies, but I try to catch up on everything and have favorites all over the place.

When I think about it though, my taste in film outside of Disney is pretty dark. I don't have a favorite genre or anything, but I like some edgier stuff than most.

Books: Lord of the Rings, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Jules Verne, Dracula, and too many comics/graphic novels to name

TV: Again, as a big fan of animation, I tend to watch a lot of cartoons. A good deal of which were childhood favorites, but there's some stuff from today as well as shows from around that age which I didn't watch that I enjoy. My overall favorite animated series besides the classic Looney Tunes and Tex Avery shorts has to be Ed, Edd, n' Eddy. I still think that's the perfect modern cartoon. My favorite animated series currently running is Archer.

In terms of live-action, I typically go for sitcoms since those require less commitment and I can use a quick laugh. How I Met Your Mother, Married... With Children, Community, and All in the Family are some of my favorites. That said, I really enjoy Joss Whedon's work, and I'm planning on starting Doctor Who soon.

Oh, and Twilight Zone. Love that stuff.

You might already know I'm an Agnostic Christian. Politically, I've always considered myself somewhat moderate, with liberal leanings of course (especially where it concerns human rights).

I used to play Trumpet in band when I was in Middle School. I had thought the band looked cool and asked my parents. Unfortunately, I never could catch on and I wanted to quit--but I had to wait several years because my parents paid a lot for that trumpet. :: In high school, I started taking piano lessons and it was easy for me to learn. ß That’s all strange because the Trumpet has three buttons and the piano has…how many keys?

I'm about to begin my last year of college for English with high school licensure. Student teaching is approaching...*afraid*

I used to really want to do that when I was younger, and I would have except for two things: 1. The nearest college to me that offers an animation degree is a state away, 2. The fact that 2D is practically dying out in the US.

I always dreamed of doing work at Disney, but they don't do 2D anymore and I just don't care about 3D in that way. I thought about doing video game design for a while, but entertainment-related jobs are so uncertain. You might just waste your life away and end up nowhere. So I went with teaching English, so I could write in my spare time and read for the job. Plus, I love investing myself into helping others learn (main reason I want to be a parent), so teaching seemed to work for me. I might’ve went with nursing or veterinary work, but I can’t hold people/animals down when things need to happen because I‘m too empathetic (like a shot, or something like that).

I used to really want to do that when I was younger, and I would have except for two things: 1. The nearest college to me that offers an animation degree is a state away, 2. The fact that 2D is practically dying out in the US.

I always dreamed of doing work at Disney, but they don't do 2D anymore and I just don't care about 3D in that way. Interesting you should know him. I've never heard of him, until (years and years ago), a friend of mine send me a wonderful little bit of music done by him and someone named Aki Kurado. It was apparently done for one of the 'Final Fantasy' videogames and it's called 'To Zanarkand' . Do you know this bit of music? It's a simple, but beautiful piece of piano playing.

I read it for English class in one of the last years of high school. I didn't have to, we were let free to pick the books of our liking and I picked this one. I cheated a bit (okay, a lot) because I couldn't get through it in English so I rented the Dutch translation.
