Now that we have trailers for both, what are everyone's thoughts on this sequel stuffed year?

I'm looking forward to Kung Fu Panda 2, but I'm not sure about Puss in Boots. The character works great in the Shrek series, so we will have to see.

I know one thing. The porn companies are going to have a lot of fun with the title, "Puss in Boots."

I liked the first Kung Fu Panda and I think Puss in Boots could sustain a full feature, so I'll see both.

"Kung Fu-ier" ? That....is just as lame as most special edition titles on Disney dvds

I might see Puss In Boots, but will more than likely pass on Kung Fu Panda simply because I have not seen the first nor do I have any interest in seeing it.

Meh, no interest in either. The first "Kung Fu Panda" was okay but nothing particularly memorable to me and the overbloated Shrek franchise needs to be put to rest. I could be in to be pleasantly surprised, but otherwise it looks like after the decent offering of HTTYD last year it's just going to be another long string of run-of-the-mill DreamWorks stuff.

I'm going to wait for reviews on both, standard practice for DreamWorks movies.

What made KFP so blah to you?

Yeah, I loved KFP myself. I don't know if the sequel will be great or not (it's too bad the turtle master died; he was my favorite character  ), but the original was a favorite of mine. One of Dreamworks' best, joined by HTTYD.

Puss in Boots was the best thing to come out of the Shrek series, so I really would like to see what they do with the film. I'm just not sure if the character could hold a whole movie by himself or not.

Puss in Boots looks funny! I'll definitely be checking it out. As for Kung-Fu Panda II, I'll probably just hold out for the DVD and rent it.

I doubt he is. In fact, with the title, I can easily think of it as simply an adaptation of his fairy tale.

I'm actually looking forward to the Monsters vs. Aliens TV show.

I haven't seen DreamWorks' movies beyond The Prince of Egypt, the first three Shreks, and Monsters vs. Aliens. Thinking about seeing Over the Hedge, Bee Movie, and How to Train Your Dragon.

I'll probably see Puss In Boots... not really interested in Kung Fu Panda 2 though (never saw the first one!)
