I am going to watch all 50 of Disney's animated films

This is something that I have been thinking about doing. I have been thinking of watching all of these films in order of that date that they came out. Now that there are 50 of them this seems like the perfect time to do it.
I am thinking of watching them all in my room on my Blu-ray player so I can see them all on the same Tv and from the same Blu-ray/Dvd player. I will use Blu-ray disc for all the movies on Blu-ray and the Dvd disc for the ones not on Blu-ray yet.

Are you going to watch them all in one go, like a marathon? Either way, you're going to have to wait until Tangled comes out.
Still, it sounds like fun. If I had all fifty movies in my DVD collection, I might try to pull off such an endeavor.

You could watch one or two Disney movies a day. Tangled will be out by then.

I've been thinking about doing this for awhile now but haven't gotten around to it. If I do this though, I will skip Dumbo, The Fox and the Hound, & The Lion King so that when they get "Blued", they'll be even better having not seen them in awhile.
I may start this tomorrow!

I did that about a year ago, I watched I believe 24 films in about a week, haha. I didn't watch any of the Pooh sequels.
There were some highs (Lion King 1 1/2, Kronk's New Groove, The Little Mermaid: Aeriel's Beginning), okay moments (Aladdin: KOT, Cinderella: A Twist in Time, 101 Dalmatians:PLA) and really low low's. (Atlantis:Milo's Return, Tarzan and Jane, Cinderella II: DCT)
I will say though, Benjamin the Manatee was an awesome character, he pretty much made Aeriel's Beginning for me.

This is exactly what I plan on doing once I purchase the last few titles I need, I'm plan on watching one movie from the canon each day in chronological order Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Tangled (unless of course by the time I get each one Winnie the Pooh has been released on DVD/Blu-Ray!). I also plan to accompany each movie with the most insightful supplements (though of course for some movies for example the package films, have very little supplements).

I did this and it was a lot of fun. You should write your thoughts down while you do it, see if you see films in a different light after watching them one-by-one in order.

I watched all 50 of Disney's animated classics in the order that the first came out on. I watched them on my Blu-ray player and HDTV. After that I went to the theater in DisneyWorld to see Disney's 51st animated classic.

Okay, and what was your experience like and is there anything else you'd like to tell us?
