Here's mine
Favourite Book: Goblet Of Fire
Favourite Character: Hermione, she is soooo funny and really kind.
Least Favourite Book: Philosphers Stone, but there all great.
Least Favourite Character: Peter "Wormtail" Pettigrew, although I think magicaly he will save Harry soon. He's still in debt to him for saving his life in book 3.
Favourite Film: Chamber of Secrets
Top 3 Book 5 perdictions(Close your eyes):

Top 3 Book 5 perdictions(Close your eyes):
1.Dumbledore will die (ups the stakes as he's the only one who can defend against Vordemort) - but I predict the death will be due to natural causes.
2. Harry didn't stop Vordemort's curse - somebody else interfered!
3. I think that Cornelius Fudge will be enslaved by Vordemort and become a double agent, or at least render the Ministry of Magic ineffectual against Vordemort.

Top book 6 Prediction!

Lucius will steal Vordemort's power and kill him and become the ultimate villian for the last book (and Draco will redeem himself by helping to fight his father - I think Draco, as well as his mother, is physically and emotionally abused by his father - see how quick he is to defend his mother, but not his father in the books)

Book 5 Predictions: a) Hagrid will die. b) Ron and Hermione will become a couple. c) Snape's errand was to go to Voldemort and do something. d) Anabella Fig whom Dumbledore spoke of is Mrs. Figs from Sorcerer's Stone and she live(s/d) on Privet Drive per Dumbledore's request to watch over Harry while he was in the Dursley's care.

Favourite Book: Chamber of Secrets
Favourite Character: Ron - where would we be without him?
Least Favourite Book: Goblet of Fire - needed a damn good edit.
Least Favourite Character : Hermione. Whiny, self-righteous little....
Favourite Film: Have only seen the first one, and didn't like it. Was too slow for a film - but the pacing was great as a book.

Top 3 Book 5 predictions :
1. Someone will die! (I'm hedging my bets)
2. Ron will want to get it on with Hermione, but catch her and Harry practicing their own magic...
3. It will involve a phoenix in some way (I'm really not trying am I?)

I agree with 2099 - we will probably find out "Harry didn't stop Vordemort's curse - somebody else interfered!", but perhaps not in this book. If Rowling is insisting on doing 7 of these things, we will find that out in Book 7. If this is the last, we will find that out in this book.
And as much as I love them, they should finish them up soon. It is starting to get repetitive. Goblet was very much so - we could've done away with about 50 of those quidditch pages at the start and still had a solid story (with 50 quidditch pages left).

There will be seven books. Period.

I don't have any book predictions as it's been ages since I read the books, but I am excited.

P.S. Heard a rumour that Prisoner of Azkaban is so long that Warner Bros. is dividing it into two movies. (that sounds like a really stupid idea to me).

Big Harry Potter Fan here!!! The latest book is going to have almost 900 pages so I am really psyched!!!

Book 5 Spoilers: (or future book spoilers...i don't know when things are going to happen)
1. Hermione becomes a prefect.
2. We are really going to find out what happens to Harry's family (mum and dad)
3. I think maybe Hagrid will die...but I don't want him too. Hopefully it will be to save Harry or one of the kids. But death in this book is really a theme.

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan as well. Have any of yall ever heard of Mugglenet or Mugglenet Forums? I used to own Mugglenet, and I used to be the Headmaster of Mugglenetforums Back when I owned it, the site got 30,000 visitors a day, and the forum was THE most popular Harry Potter discussion board around.

Big Harry Potter fan. Can not wait for Prisoner of Azakaban to come out. I'm a little PO'ed that it isn't coming out till Feb. 2004. I think Goblet should definetly be a 2 part movie but Azkaban? All about the money. Anyway I do not mind but it better be sold as 1 movie on DVD.

2099 I think your perdiction about Harry not stopping Voldies curse could be right, I'd never even thought that it could be something else.

1. Harry will do magic outside Hogwarts in self defense and will nearly get arrested (this is based off of an excerpt of the book I've read which was taken down from the web due to legal issues)

3. Hagrid will be killed by either Voldemort or the giants and/or trolls (remember how he was supposed to gather them up to Dumbledore's side before Voldemort reached them? What if he didn't get to them in time...)

Wow, I had to do a double take; Michael Gambon really does look an awful lot like Richard Harris when in costume and makeup.

Book 6 predictions

1. Harry finds out that his dad used to be a Death Eater
2. Other good character will die
3. Whoever dies in the next book will be a ghost.

I'm just going to skip to my Book 6-7 predictions:

1. Hagrid or Mrs. Weasley will die, because they're the ones who sort of look after Harry. As much as he thinks he doesn't need it, I don't think he could manage without either of these two.

2. Mrs. Dursley will reveal that she's actually a witch, but has been trying to run away from it all her life. It's revealed she actually went to Hogwarts, and knows magic-that's why she acted all strange when Harry told them about Dementors etc. And, being his only magical blood relative, she will be necessary in the prophecy somehow (to help Harry...)

3. Ron and Hermione will get together (we don't even need to write this one anymore)

4. Harry and Neville will get to be better friends, and fight Voldemort together. Neville dies, and so does Voldemort, but Harry survives. Harry graduates Hogwarts, and everyone is very glad to see him go (he brought a lot of danger when he came).

And finally,
5. There's a surprise 8th book that has Harry out of Hogwarts, marrying someone new (maybe Luna...), and having kids. And, as much as I'm sure J.K. Rowling would hate to use this saying for these books...

...they'll all live happily ever after.

actually i hope that after the Harry Potter series, JK Rowling will make a book series about James Potter and his friends when they were at Hogwarts so we get to know them better.
