Ever seen real life animated Disney character look-alikes?

Dear Disney Enthusiasts,

Have you ever seen anybody in real life (Halloween-costumed people, and actual Disney cast members don't count, at least when they're wearing their costumes) who was an almost identical double for an animated Disney character? Did you know that person? Did they know that they so closely resembled an animated Disney character? Were/ are YOU that person, and if you were/ are, what were/ are your thoughts about having resembled/ resembling an animated Disney character?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

That's funny, I was about to start a similar post about actors/actresses resembling Disney characters. Here are real people who I think resemble Disney characters:

Belle- Natalie Portman- same tilted brown eyes, brown hair, similar face shape

Jasmine- Kim Kardashian- small forehead, same nose, same face shape; ironically I thought Kardashian looked less like Jasmine when she was dressed up as Jasmine for Halloween

Flynn Rider- Brandon Routh- all he needs is the facial hair

I think quite a lot of us get reminded by certain people of personalities or characters within the public mindset, whether that means comparing the incidental to the famous or the famous between the famous. It can be based on mannerisms, or in this case, physical appearances. Here are a few examples related to me:

- There was a girl in some of my classes a few years ago who looked very much like the animated Giselle in Enchanted. It was quite funny, because it was before the film came out, and my opinions really grew as we saw more of the film.

- I know a woman from the church I used to go to when I was younger (and not agnostic) who looked so much like Lady Tremaine (aka Cinderella's stepmother). In fact, I think quite a lot of women in that church had the same hairdo as Lady Tremaine. And a good few of them shared her haughtiness.

- There was a UK TV presenter who reminded me a lot of Princess Jasmine as a child; I saw the film, then it seemed as though I saw her again on television (this was before the Aladdin TV series, obviously). I can't remember what her name is, but she was an assistant on various game shows, and she also did some segments on travel shows.

- I know a guy who looks a bit like Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty. He's not a jock, and I would say for the most part he's actually quite a nice, down-to-earth person, but part of me says that he knows which Disney character he most looks like.

Sadly I don't look like a Prince Charming, so nobody can say I look like any normal-looking Disney character. :(

Interesting topic. Two people come to mind:

1) When I was a kid, my next door neighbor looked a lot like Lady Tremaine. Needless to say, i was always scared of her.

2) When I went to college in New York, there was a girl named Alex. Lame me, I kept staring at her, cause she looked JUST like CInderella. But not regular Cinderella. SHe looked like CInderella on the cover of the 1997 VHS.

Btw, I agree about Natalie Portman, but she would have to gain some weight...her face is too bony to be Belle.

When I was a kid, I went to church with a young woman who I thought looked like Alice from Alice in Wonderland.

I told her I thought so and she looked at me like I had lobsters crawling out of my ears (to steal a quote from A Christmas Story).

Wondy, could we see a pic of that Phillip guy...even if you must ask him...pweety pweese? Does he like Disney, how would he know he looks like Phillip unless he likes the movie?

By the way, if you're that red head who posed in a cap and gown and gave the thumbs up I'd say you don't look like a "normal" prince but an exciting version of a prince, or some good guy Disney character.

Sadly, Duster, I don't really feel that I should post a picture, simply because I have my own set of rules as to what I do and don't share as part of trying to keep my virtual life and my real life as separate as possible. I have shown my name and a few photos of myself on the board, and I've shared a few random memories and thoughts, but I don't like delving too deep into my personal life, and I do draw the line when it comes to friends and relatives. That's why every photo I've shared on here doesn't include anyone I know besides myself (unless they're obscured in some way or another). Anyway, I haven't seen this guy since around June or July (we're in two completely different places at the moment, and we were more happy acquaintances than inseparable friends), so even if I didn't have those self-imposed principals in place, I wouldn't strike a conversation up with him over the Internet just to get a photo of him to show on here. Don't think I'm getting mad over this, because I'm not; I'm simply stating what I personally feel I should and shouldn't share on here. :)

As for the other point, what I meant by saying that he probably knew he looked like Prince Philip was metaphorical and ultimately quite hyperbolic; he is a tad vain, and consistently well kept and dressed, and you can't help but sometimes think that he's thinking "why yes, I can be your Prince Charming, mademoiselles!". In all fairness, I could have said he reminded me of the princes from Snow White or Cinderella, or said he's the GQ magazine personified. :p

My 10th grade communications teacher reminded me of Tinkerbell.

And I suppose my little cousin, who is half-Filipino, half-white, slightly resembles that little boy from Up, only my cousin is a lot leaner.

A man who looked like Mr. Snoops!

Dear Disney Enthusiasts,

During the 1990s, my mother and I took music lessons with a man who almost literally looked like Mr. Snoops from "The Rescuers", but we were both too polite to say anything.

During college, I took singing lessons from a woman who vaguely resembled Sleeping Beauty. I'd always think of Aurora while I was practicing during my voice lessons.

Thank you in advance for your replies.

I think i look a little like Giselle, i have the same colour hair and eyes.

My favorite Disney Princesses are Ariel and Rapunzel, and the funny thing is that i have red hair and blue eyes, and my best friend has blonde hair and green eyes xD
and i want a boyfriend that looks like Flynn
And i saw a man in a store a few weeks ago who looked exactly like the old man in UP.

Lol, oh man when my fiance first saw the trailer for Tangled he went around quoting the whole 'smolder' bit for days, and it was sooo funny, because he sort of has that flynn look anyway, and then he'd do the smolder face, and I'd laugh so hard.. He looked just like him! I kept planning on taking pics of him to make an avatar for myself here on UD, but sadly never got around to doing it. (He's back home in Australia now)

Yes!

There was a girl I knew at the local theatre who I always thought looked and sounded just like Cinderella (including her singing voice). I later found out she was a Face Character at Disney playing Cinderella for a couple years before I met her.

Someone online once posted pictures in another community and she was the spitting image of Aurora. Natural long blonde hair with a bit of a natural curl at the ends and curled bangs, tiny waist and figure, and a lovely angular face.

I've randomly been told I look like Ariel a couple of times but I don't see it. I don't have red hair and my eyes are green. Maybe I have the right face shape or something. I do have her lips though, that is for sure.

A little girl came up to me at work the other night... I was wearing a Rapunzel sticker on my name tag and she said "I like Rapunzel!!! You look like Rapunzel's Prince!!!" Of course, I had cut my hair and grew facial hair for my Flynn costume, but I was just dressed in regular clothing. Thought it was adorable.

^ cuter than Flynn.

But if we're really going to do that and talk about ourselves as others have done here, my mom said I kinda look like Flynn, and some girl said I look like Prince Adam (from Beauty and the Beast). I have long hair now, so, that's why. They're, like, designed by the same guy, so it makes sense.

This reminds me of a remark made by a Dutch movie critic I never forgot: In a review of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame she stated that judge Claude Frollo looked just like a Dutch politician, Gerrit-Jan Wolffensperger. I laughed about it, but probably poor mr. Woffensperger would not have been very happy with it.

I looked up some pictures and made the following combination:

You can judge for yourself if there is any resemblance.
