I was rather surprised that neither "Winnie the Pooh" nor "Cars 2" were advertised prior to "Tangled."
I got:
1. The Smurf Movie
2. Prom
3. Yogi Bear
4. Gnomeo and Juliet
What trailers were shown at your theater?

I saw Tangled in 3D, by the way:
Yogi Bear
Justin Bieber
Cars 2
Mars Needs Moms
I think that's it. I'm also surprised I didn't get Winnie the Pooh. Maybe it's only being shown before certain 2D showings like how I didn't see the The Princess and the Frog trailer before Up 3D.

I saw it in 3D–the trailers were for Yogi Bear, The Smurfs, Mars Needs Moms, The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader (a longer, different trailer than the one with Two Steps from Hell's "Heart of Courage"), and Cars 2. I'm surprised you didn't get Cars 2 as well. I really wish they had shown the trailer for Winnie the Pooh.

I got these plus the Justin Beiber documentary. I was surprised they didn't show Tron! I suppose it's a different audience.

I saw Tangled in 3D, and the trailers that played were Yogi Bear, Tron, Mars Needs Moms, and Cars 2. I wish they showed the trailer for Winnie the Pooh though.

Narnia, The Smurfs, Kung Fu Panda 2, Yogi, Cars 2, and Gnomeo and Juliet.
I saw the Justin Bieber trailer in front of Harry Potter. I would’ve liked to have seen a trailer for the Mars Mom thing, since I’m not sure what that one’s about.

Umm.... okay. If they're not showing the trailers for the new Pooh movie AND Cars 2, then how in Heaven's name do they expect people to even know they're coming?!

Good question....when exactly are they coming?
Nevermind, I just found the answer to my question.

Same here.
As for tron, Ive yet to see it in theaters in 3D and its really pissing me off quite frankly. Ive seen a lot of movies it could have been attached to since the debut trailer and Ive yet to see it.
Also, Im not sure which makes me more suicidal, the smurfs trailer, the yogi trailer, or the Justin Bieber one.
Actually it may be hidden answer D, the fandango paper bag ads.

I went and saw Tangled the second time, today, and here's the list of trailers I remember.
Yogi Bear
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Justin Bieber: Never Say Never
The Smurfs
Cars 2
Prom
Gnomeo and Juliet
I can't remember exactly which ones I saw the first time around. However, I'm pretty sure it was mostly the same list.

I'd go with the Hiden answer, the Fandango Paper bag ads...they never go away...they are in every showing of every movie almost..
