In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Take time this Nov 11th to remember those that lost their lives protecting our countries, and thank those veterans that are still with us, and those that are currently enlisted and serving.

Thank you veterans and service men and women.

My favourite war poem would have to be Dulce et Decorum est by Wilfred Owen. I shall wear my poppy with pride today.

Thanks to all veterans out there for maintaining our freedom.

I just asked if there were any way veterans in my family, and there was only one. He passed away five years ago from Cancer. So I am thankful to him and all the men and women who sacrificed their lives so that we enjoy the freedom we are experiencing now.

Thank you to all veterans, including those who are with us, and who no longer are.

Thank you veterans. You people are awesome.
