Anyone happen to know if the 1988 series of Mission: Impossible will be released on DVD?

The original series is now all out so I'm hoping they release this one.

There was a 1988 show? I had no idea. With another film coming out, maybe the '88 show could come out then? No idea.

Yup, and Peter Graves was back as Jim Phelps. It also had Phil Morris, who's dad, Greg, was in the original show. Here's the intro to The Golden Serpent episode:

I kinda wish this show would get resurrected on the small screen. Tom Cruise's one-man actioners don't have the charm as the shows did. (even though I liked the 3rd movie the best). Curious how Ghost Protocol will turn out.

I am sooooooo hoping they do release the 2 seasons of the ABC Mission:Impossible. I have all 7 seasons of the original series from CBS. IMO the best television series ever & the 88 series rocked too.
