Now that is very unfortunate. :(

50 is too young of an age to pass away.

I always feel bad commenting on the death of someone if I only liked one of their movies/works/etc. But The Swan Princess is all I've seen of her, and she was great in it. I'll definitely pick up some CDs (Broadway or otherwise) of her in the future. :(

Rest in peace.

What a shame. :( I grew up with the first Swan Princess movie so it has a special place in my heart. I didn't know the voice actress for Odette was a stage actress and singer.

Why is it that these good people die young? RIP.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( I loved her! I love the Swan Princess (she was only the speaking voice in the original, not sure if that was mentioned) and I recently found her Disney albums online! They are amazing! :( So sad.....

Oh wow. When I saw the picture that Cordy posted, I knew she looked famiiliar. I imdb'd her and found out she was Amanda Reese (Harry's college girlfriend that Sally was friends with) in When Harry Met Sally.

Yes...Something I've never quite gotten my head around. For the first movie, Liz Callaway is credited with Odette's singing voice, but in the two sequels it's Nicastro herself.
