Since these are being released in just a little over a week, I thought this was necessary.
How many of you are planning on getting this release? Does anyone know of any good deals going on? They're listed on Amazon for $25 and $28, respectively... I was hoping buying them both together somewhere would save some money. I'm also planning on picking up Earth finally, too.

I'm getting both & praying for Disney to put out coupons for them like they do for just about every blu ray combo pack. That week is going to be big time expensive for me (15th How to Train Your Dragon, 19th Oceans, Crimson Wing, Potter 3&4 Ultimate Editions & Predators). All blu ray combo packs.

hi everyone. i work at a video store and we just got both oceans and crimson wings in. in regards to the coupons for the combo packs disney has put a coupon attached to the blu-ray/dvd combo packs for $ 10.00 off for when you buy them BOTH at the same time and on the same transaction.

I'm buying both. I'm a sucker for wildlife movies. I saw Oceans twice in the theater and am eagerly awaiting to finally see Crimson Wing. Earth won't look so lonely on the shelf anymore. Reyquila is also buying.

That means that there probably won't be a printable coupon for each. Well, if Toys R Us has a good price I might preorder Toy Story 3 & use the $10 credit with the combo on pack coupon which should take a little sting out of the price.

If there isn't a coupon for each, this really is an indicator Disney is getting cheap on the coupons. Prince of Perisa was only $8 rather than $10, although Beauty and the Beast was still $10. Hopefully there will be a coupon for each.

The last "Tinker Bell" film was $10 as well, but I do agree they are getting cheaper.
I really want both of these titles, but will not be sure when I'll actually be getting them.

Amazon actually does have an offer to save $10 if you buy any two Disneynature titles. This includes the Blu-ray/DVD combo packs and the DVD edition. See the following link:
Link.
So, if you were to order the Blu-ray combo packs for Oceans and Crimson Wing, it would come out to $42.98 total.
Toys R Us currently has both movies listed at $29.99 for the Blu-ray combo packs. I'm hoping I'll be able to do the following, assuming msh1975 is correct about the $10 off promotion for buying both:
$29.99 Crimson Wing
$29.99 Oceans
-$10.00 for buying both promotion
+$5 Pre-order Toy Story 3
- $10 Toy Story 3 Pre-order Promotion
+$5 Pre-order Toy Story 3
- $10 Toy Story 3 Pre-order Promotion
- $6 Coupon for buying Oceans and another Disney movie (It says Oceans on DVD, so I'm hoping this works for the combo pack as well)
$33.98 total for both movies, or $16.99 each.
If Disney does offer printable coupons, or Toys R Us has them on sale for the release week, this may become a better deal.

MrMan2k7, I will probably do the same as you at TRU but can you tell me where you get the $6 coupon from? I follow your whole game plan up to that. Don't recall seeing a $6 coupon anywhere.

There is currently a promotion at Toys R Us where you get a "Magical Savings" coupon book if you purchase any Disney DVD or Blu-ray. I picked up mine when I bought Beauty and the Beast last week. One of the coupons gives you $6 off when you purchase Disneynature Oceans on DVD and another DVD or Blu-ray priced at $14.99 or higher. Some people said they were able to use the coupons immediately when picking up a movie instead of waiting for a future purchase, so you may be able to use the coupon without another prior purchase, but that really depends on the cashier you get.
Still, I'm not 100% sure that it will work because this coupon specifies the DVD edition, while almost all the other coupons in the book say "DVD or Blu-ray" for what you need to purchase. I know previous coupons for the Blu-ray combo packs have worked on the single disc Blu-rays or the DVD copies of the movie, so this may work. Otherwise, you may need to argue the point that you ARE buying a DVD since it's included in the combo pack.
I'm really looking forward to these after reading the positive reviews here!

When did this book come out? I just saw it today and I took a book because they had it where you can take one. If I would have known this, I would have used it for Beauty and the Beast.
Oh well, I still did great with BATB savings. I will def be using the coupon Tuesday for Oceans and The Crimson Wing Blu-ray Combo Pack!

They're supposed to be free, with purchase of a Disney DVD or Blu-ray. My Toys R Us just had them out at the electronics checkout, free for the taking, though.

I went to Toys R Us today, planning to pick these two movies up, but they didn't have them in stock, in either Blu-ray combo pack or even DVD-only edition. The cashier said he had no clue if they'd even be getting them in.
So, I went to Best Buy across the street, planning to pick them up there since online they had the next best price. When I got there, Oceans was $25.99 and Crimson Wing was $29.99, and there was no $10 coupon on the packaging. I decided to leave them there and order online instead. I did pick up The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad for $10.99, though.
Online, Best Buy is more competitive with the prices.
$24.99 Crimson Wing Blu-ray Combo
$24.99 Oceans Blu-ray Combo
-$10.00 Disneynature Buy2 Promotion
$39.98 + tax
I bought them through ShopDiscover online and got another 5% off for using my Discover Card.
So, all in all, it'll end up costing me $41 after tax and discount, or about $20.50 per movie. Not as great as I was hoping...
If Toys R Us does end up getting them in stock then I'll try to use the Magical Savings coupon, and if that works, then I'll return these.

My TRU got them in dvd only NO blu rays. When I went to Target to get the Harry Potter Ultimate Editions (w/free moviecash) I saw loads of Oceans all with the peel off $10 combo coupon. Peeled one of them off & used it at Wal Mart. They had them for $24.96 each minus $4.99 (my brothers' employee discount) & the $10 coupon for both on the same ticket & I got them for $38 including tax. Would saved about $2 more at TRU if they'd gotten them in but still I'm very satisfied with the deal.
