Beastly Kingdom

As of right now, it appears that the theme parks of Walt Disney World are in line for massive refurbs. The Magic Kingdom is obviously the focus of the attention at the moment with the Fantasyland expansion while if rumours are to be believed, a "Monsters, Inc." rollercoaster is going to be installed at Hollywood Studios in a huge expansion of Pixar Place which will see the Backlot Tour removed. There are also persistant rumours of new pavilions being added to Epcot's World Showcase, with Spain currently the favourite on fan forums while Africa also seems a strong possibility.
In the midst of all this, no imminent changes appear to be in line for Animal Kingdom. Disney has obviously already spent a massive amount on money on Expedition Everest and the company is obivously now counting the costs of the global recession. That being said, I personally think that Animal Kingdom could still do with an expansion or at least the addition of several new attractions. One possibility, thought is seems extremely unlikely to ever happen, is Beastly Kingdom.
While an expansion similar to Fantasyland seems to be out of the question, I think something could be done with the space in Camp Minnie/Mickey to alter it to Beastly Kingdom, as was the original plan for the space before soaring costs forced to company to abandon the plans for the cheaper option that is currently there.
The plans for Beastly Kingdom included a rollercoaster involving a fire-breathing dragon and a river cruise featuring animal character from "Fantasia". With Everest now installed, the rollercoaster will probably now never happen but the "Fantasia" ride seems like a good idea. If Disney could supplement that with other rides featuring mythological creatures, perhaps Pegasus from "Hercules", to make the area better. While there is nothing wrong with Camp Minnie/Mickey, I have just always wondered how much better the park would have been had Beastly Kingdom been built.
As I've said, it is unlikely that Beastly Kingdom will now ever happen but with significant changes planned for the other three parks, I'm just curious as to whether Disney have any plans to make any similar significant alterations to Animal Kingdom seven or eight years down the line.
