Hey guys, just in time for Halloween is the release of a make-up line, inspired by Disney Villians! Produced by MAC, the world-renowned beauty products brand, four Disney Villians have been used to promote this line.
Cruella de Vil, Maleficient, the Evil Queen and Dr Facilier are the four timeless characters chosen, and all come with their own products/colours.

Facilier looks more creepy than usual on the shimmery tube (the liquid powder?). I haven't see that particuliar picture of him before. I wonder if it's in the The Art of The Princess and the Frog book. I want to get my hands on that book someday.

I LOVE the Maleficent items. I think I'm going to have to buy some of those. Just as soon as I find out what stores are selling them!

I for sure I am!!! Funnily enough, I first got into make-up when I was invited to do make-up for a school Disney concert and went to MAC to look for things!

Hm.. isn't it kind of curious that they chose Dr. Facilier instead of another female villain such as Ursula? I mean I know PatF under-performed in Disney's eyes, but I don't really see this as a good way to boost sales.

Either way, they all look really great! I'll definitely be passing this link onto my cousin who also shares my love for Disney and is a make-up artist.

Thanks for posting!

I agree I think girls would be much more apt to buy make up with Ursula on it than Dr. Faciler haha. She is one of the most popular villains and is always advertised with Maleficent, The Queen and Cruella so it is very odd that she wasn't included here. If they were going for a male villian why not use a more well known one like Jafar or Scar or even Hades?? Strange but still cool haha.

Mmmm yeah, they wanted to use a male Villian, because male beauty products are becoming popular worldwide....yeah I think Jafar or Scar would've been better, but Dr Faciliar kinda fits the mould quite well, even though no one knows him haha

Yeah I still think they should have used Ursula haha. I would buy an Ursula product waaaaaaaaaaaay before a Dr. Faciler one lol and I know alot of guys who would agree with me. But idk it's Disney's choice in the end.

Yeah, I was sure that Ursula would've been a part of this. She's one of the only villains where they make a point of her dealing with makeup, beauty products, etc.
But I guess they don't want to associate "fat" with "beauty."

Cruella could be the misfit instead of Facilier. She doesn't use magic.

Yeah she is the only one we see using make up and products. I think Ursula is strangely sexy in a way haha. In some scenes she looks pretty like in the scene where she says it'll be too easy to trick Ariel and we see her "little garden" It's in her eyes mostly haha. Idk I think we should petition to get Ursula a part of the line haha.
And Cruella has always been included with the wicked witch villainesses. She has rather demonic/witchlike qualities anyway i.e. the climactic car chase scene. So she fits even though she doesn't use magic. Idk how to explain it haha.

Or maybe they are afraid some drag queen or cougar will go to far and end up like this picture...

That's..... creative.
Maybe the reason they didn't allow her is maybe they wanted someone more "human".

I personally don't use MAC, but this is certainly an interesting twist for make up !
I do agree though; why is Ursula, the one villain who makes a point of using make up, left out here ? How very odd indeed.

Considering TPatF will have been out a year next month and there's hardly any Facilier merchandise, I don't mind him being in this line instead of Ursula. Ursula's got merchandise that's better than makeup products with her picture on them had she been added to this line.

Facilier does seem an odd inclusion .... but to be honest, I am struggling to think of another male villain who has an interesting enough colour palllet to have a make up line inspired by him .... ?

I think Jafar and Hades could be interesting. Jafar is black and red and tan. Hades is blue, black and gray. They would have been cool imo.
