Last Comic Standing Judge Greg Giraldo has Died

Five days after Greg Giraldo was hospitalized for an accidental prescription pill overdose, the comedian passed away at the age of 44, E! News reports.
The Last Comic Standing judge's death was first announced by friend and fellow comic Jim Norton via Twitter.
"Greg Giraldo passed away today. This is the last photo of us together, taken June 28 at Noam's wedding," Norton, 42, tweeted Wednesday. "RIP buddy."
I had read that he'd had an accidental overdose, but the article I read was more joking about how he shouldn't copy Lindsay Lohan. They talked as if he was perfectly okay.
