Seeking Advice about making YouTube Videos

Hey folks, I've been wanting to do movie/DVD and collectible reviews on YouTube for a while now, and I just got a Flip camera. I wanted to know though, how do you post clips from the movies you are reviewing? I mean, how/where do you get the clips and all that? Do you have to rip them from the DVDs, and if so, how is that done? Any tips would be great, and the sooner the better since I want to post my first review within the next day or two if at all possible. If I have to, I'll just not have clips, but it would be neat to be able to do that. Thanks!
