Yep. After all these years, CCBB is finally getting a Blu-ray. I dunno about you, but I will definitely be getting it.
Sure, some parts of the cover art may look like a crappy Photoshop job, but personally, I think it's better than nothing.

If the Blu-ray is region free and there are some new extras, I'll definitely be buying!

A little late for me to say, but I got the movie on Tuesday and I absolutely LOVE the restoration on it!!
The 2003 Special Edition had some type of color hue on the picture. Glad to see it's not there on the 2010 Blu-ray.

Nice to see one of the lesser-known childhood favorites getting the Blu treatment, although I'm also sad to see that apparently, MGM has taken the spectacular 2-Disc Special Edition DVD version out of print. (Yet they have no issue keeping that shoddy pan-and-scan single-disc DVD in print.

) I own the 2-Disc set and frankly, while the bonus features could have been a bit more substantial, it's one of the more beautifully packaged DVD's I own and it's also a shame that similar packaging was not done for the Blu-Ray. It's a small consolation, however, that the DVD that comes in the combo pack is widescreen and that nearly all of the 2-Disc DVD bonus features were retained on the Blu-Ray.
If I owned a Blu-Ray player, this one would absolutely be an essential purchase for me.
