I believe a facepalm is in order and a WTF...btw it has nothing to do with James Cameron's Masterpiece Titanic....I think we have finally found something as horrfic as Titanic the animated Musical :/

on the other hand...the die hard Titanic fan of the ship in me wants to see it...though i'm going to try to resist......

Watch what you say about what surely is a fine movie written by, directed by, and starring Dick Van Dyke's grandson!

If nothing else, you've got to respect this tagline:

Is it horrible of me to want to see this movie? That trailer was mighty exciting!

What do you expect from awfulness? This is from the company known as The Asylum, you know.

Okay, my first thought at just reading the thread title was

But then, after seeing the trailer, it was more like

As long as it's not a horror film, or a film with graphic bloody stuff, then maybe, just maybe, I'd be interested in seeing it.

As long as it's not other actors playing Rose and Jack (hence my initial facepalm, since that was my first thought), it's kind of an intriguing concept...

Looks like a big steaming pile of dog poop. But I did like this one person's comment:
"Next one: The Passion of the Christ II, the revenge"

This one deserves more than two facepalms, a big WTF, a Hitler Downfall meme, and any other form of online complaining there is.

But the real question is, Is Celine Dion doing the soundtrack?

Funny, that's the same thing I thought- only with "sci-fi" standing in for horror. :P

As for my thoughts... Could this possibly be worse than the first Titanic? Perhaps the single most overrated cinematic turkey in history (not directed by Michael Bay).

 You're killing what I love! Titanic and Pearl Harbor are amazing. (No, I'm not kidding.)

T's what I'm here for. :D (j/k)

To be fair, Titanic is just boring. So boring in fact, it's one of the only chick flicks I hate because the leading man is so girly. Not like Pearl Harbor, which is an attack on cinema. Trying to insult all people who have ever enjoyed a film with serious subject matter. Which is what Michael Bay does. Why he gets up in the morning. To laugh at people who pay to see his godawful flicks. At least a person can respect James Cameron. Who sometimes has talent.

You're preaching to the wrong choir- I love Pearl Harbor even more than Titanic... :p

Don't think this is easy for me either. It's hard coming to terms with how sub-human this rat is because he's just so damn hott:

I know. Directors shouldn't have muscles. It's a crime.

Oh, my sweet Jesus. This has got to be some kind of joke.

Unfortunately, it's not a joke. It's the Asylum's next cash cow aired on Syfy and on DVD soon.

I rented it.....no suprise it's terrible which calling it terrible is really an understatement.... :headshake:

though that the bonus features have a 5 minute gag real with a banjo playing in the background ...hilarity of comedy gag reel of actors laughing while trying to say their lines.....good lord if you see this movie and think about buying let this phrase enter your mind: Crappy Movie Dead ahead pull back to starboard and avoid at all costs :P

People, stop treating the original like it's sacred. It's not. It's dramatic milquetoast and a lame action trashfest.

Accept it. Move on with lives.
