A little game idea I came up with earlier I thought would be fun to try. The object is that someone will post a picture and for the next few days, people can take turns creating funny captions for it. It can be from a Disney magazine, storybook, comics, an awkward Disney screencap, just as long as you can make a funny caption from it. Not sure though how long we should have one caption up until till post another one...four to five days, a week?

Anyway, I'll throw out the first one from the Sleeping Beauty comic.

Philip: "Father... remember when we agreed I should go and marry the girl I love?"
Hubert: "Hmmm, vaguely ...Why do you ask?"
Philip: "Because, well... Father, I've changed my mind. I went to visit her and her house is full of little gnomes in costumes. That's too weird for me, even in these 14th century modern times!"





I tried.

Prince Phillip: "And then, you have to look deep into her eyes like this. Say to her, 'I want you. I need you. Let me love you the way you need to be loved. The way no other man can love you!' Then, you lean in to kiss her, but not all the way. It has to be 90% like in Hitch. She's the 10%. Like this."

(Phillip leans in a little closer, waiting. A pause.)

King Hubert: "Son, you're making me very uncomfortable right now."

Prince Phillip: "Whoops, sorry. But you get the idea, right?"

(and continuing on beyond the panel)

King Hubert: "Er, yes, I think so."

Prince Phillip: "Great! I want a full report now when you get back from your date with Flora, Pops."

King Hubert: "You young ones and your dates. In my day, we called it a courtship."

Prince Phillip: "Fine, I want a full report on your courtship with Flora."

Phillip: You smell like pastrami... *sniff sniff*

King Hubert: Uh, uhhhm, uhhh... (clears throat) No, I said different...I trimmed my nosehairs.

Hubert: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Phillip: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Hubert: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I would join in except I generally suck at these and the only caption I can think of for this picture is dirty and disgusting and probably not even funny, soo...

Also, I've been scouring the Internet for pictures to use, so I'm making a stockpile of them for whenever they're needed!

ALADDIN: Hey Jasmine, you want some.... pot?
JASMINE: That was the stupidest joke I ever heard! Who the heck told you that was funny!?
GENIE:

Aladdin: I'm looking at your bewbs! Oh noes!

Jasmine: Are you a pervert?

Aladdin: You really want to know what I think of your cooking?

(He raises the pot over his head, intent on spilling it over hers)

Jasmine: Don't you dare! Don't you dare!

Phillip: I know, a dirty, foul, dumb peasant...see where I'm going with this?

LOL....too bad I suck at these things or I would give it a go, but yours are all way funny!

ALADDIN: But just look at this pot of gold! A few DTV sequels and some tacky merchandising can't be too bad, right?

This game tends to loose it's steam pretty quickly. On a Julie Andrews fansite I frequent, we play the same game except anybody can post a picture at any time, sometimes with several pictures going on at once. That way the game stays fresh. Most of the time, though, they copy the picture they're referring to in their own post, to avoid confusion.

I thought I'd bring in Mary Poppins!
