It's so sad! She was my favorite!
Amytime I watch Princess and the Frog, I think of her because of Charlotte!

Yeah, I've noticed they've died each year since '08.

I know she had had health problems recently, so this isn't really a surprise. But it's still sad.
Hope Betty lives a really long time.

I believe Betty is the youngest of them. And she has aged the best. She just seems very healthy and vibrant, almost all the time. I have a feeling we'll have her for several more years. I am glad she has had such an amazing boost to her career. I hadn't seen her in a while and then she was in Lake Placid a few years ago and from there, her career has continued to rise again. Its nice a new generation is enjoying her humor and she feels like, "everyone's grandmother". Showing you don't have to be young and have a rock hard body or drop dead looks in this business. Giving more respect for elderly actors and the elderly. I love Betty White. And I feel very bad she is the last of the Girls. My heart goes out to her, I am sure she is hurting right now.

Ironically, Betty is the oldest (1922) and Rue was the youngest (1934). I wish they all lived to be 100.
I got two texts about Rue's passing this morning, a rather lousy way to start the day. It didn't really sink in, even when I decided to watch some "Golden Girls" DVDs this afternoon. It finally sank in when I passed by the parents' bedroom and saw them reporting it on the 11:00 news.
We'll all miss you, Rue.

I admit I have never seen an episode of the Golden Girls, but from the clips that I have seen all the women had great talent, and its unfortunate to lose them.
She looked great at 76!
And yes, if Betty White passes away I WILL be sad
