I was in Gamestop today, and a little boy was getting a PS3 game. His little sister wanted a game, and of course he was treating her as if he was ten times older and he said she could either get a girls game or a PS1 game. What's wrong with that statement?

Well, technically, all the games are for boys and girls, so she could have whatever game she wants.

I haven't seen too many kids without knowledge in Gamestop, but I have seen PARENTS without knowledge from time to time. Especially when it comes to video game ratings.
