okay....apparently some producers for the Oscars had a what they thought was brilliant idea for someone to host the Oscars.....Apparently the board rejected that idea....Thank God...because that person was

Yeah. Actually, I'd prefer to see one of NBC's late-night "hosts" host the awards show. After all they've been through, at least Conan deserves it.
