My Artwork

Yeah, I do art too, and with my aspirations to be in the world of film and animation, I'm immersing myself in art. I've made many drawings and am starting to really color them. I have also done other things that I can't fit into my scanner.

So, here are a couple works-in-progress. Drew them myself, and you may be familiar with what they convey. Let's just say Enigma gave me the idea. They're probably too big to put here, so I'll just link them.

Stained Glass(almost completely without color):

And Belle's House. This one is a little more complete, but still needs work.

I will be updating throughout the coming months. And yes, I have original works.

Those are really, really quite good- I like the style...I don't know much about art, so I don't know how to describe it, but it's like your own twists on the material. I can't wait to see your other work!

interestingly enough, I was aiming for a little more accuracy. The impossible, some would call it.

Anyway, here's some rough 3D stuff.

Kind of looks like a Keyblade.

It is. I'm in the process of learning another program with which I might be able to do a better one. It'll take a while, though. That was Wings 3D, and I'm trying to learn True Space now.

I'm an artist myself, and like Amy I think these are good and that you have your own, very cool unique syle, especially in the Belle's house picture, that you couldn't help.

That's a good thing, not being able to help putting yourself in any work you do!

made Progress on Belle's House. Basically ditched the accuracy(im using MSPaint), and went fot the Tim Burton version of the scene.

EDIT: I'll have you know I'm also pretty good at character drawings. Probably as good as I am at BGs.

Yeah, I definitely meant it as a good thing- your own style is great! :)

Two Rough Character Sketches. One, just basic poses I borrowed from something.

And the Other, an original design. Sorta was stuck in my head for awhile.

So, I'm close to being done with the Belle's House image. Im gonna show it in an art show in Green Bay next month.

Colored in the tree, added leaves, more grass, and touched up the dirt path a bit, as well as the stems on the well and the clothesline and the bucket. added some more shading to, and colored in that Backdrop.

Your sketches look good, I especially like the original/unnamed character and the stained glass. They seem a little pixilated though; I'm guessing that's an artifact of the scanner settings or that you're adjusting the contrast to achieve heavier, more solid lines (which are easier to color digitally).

Bell's house looks very nice so far, I really like the feel of it. What program are you using to color? I'd love to see you be able to use softer gradients.

Keep up the good work. :)

I guess it's the scanner settings. This is actually my second real effort in scanning. First one was a school project.

In complete contrast to Marky's posts, I'm actually using Microsoft Paint. :P

Anyway, thx for the support! :D
