Ruthless People is a pretty dirty film, although it was hilarious, and it was Rated [R]. I heard in several places that this film was made by the Disney Company or at least the Touchstone Studios. So, what's the deal? Did Disney get tired of bad films in 70s and decided to make this Dirty movie or what?

You think you know a company... :o

It's a Touchstone film, no different from R-rated fare like "The Color of Money" or "Down and Out in Beverly Hills." Stuff like "Trainspotting" and "The Gangs of New York" are loosely 'Disney' films in the same sense, but if it has the real 'Disney' name on it, it'd be covered on this site.
