TVShowsonDVD.com have announced that BBC Video/Warner Bros. will release "Merlin": The Complete First Season on April 20, 2010!!!



It will be a five disc set, so they likely combined the two bonus discs from the R2 UK version into one bonus disc (which makes sense, as both held about an hour of content). If everything from the R2 UK version is carried over (and it likely will be) the special features include:

-Commentaries for 7 Episodes
--Episode 1 "The Dragon's Call" - co-creators/producers Johnny Capps and Julian Murphy
--Episode 2 "Valiant" - actors Bradley James (Arthur) and Angel Coulby (Gwen)
--Episode 5 "Lancelot" - co-creator/producer Johnny Capps and director Ed Fraiman
--Episode 7 "The Gates of Avalon" - Bradley James (Arthur), Anthony Head (Uther) and director Jeremy Webb
--Episode 8 "The Beginning of the End" - Colin Morgan (Merlin), Angel Coulby (Gwen), Katie McGrath (Morgana) and director Jeremy Webb
--Episode 9 "Excalibur" - Colin Morgan (Merlin), Angel Coulby (Gwen), Richard Wilson (Gaius) and director Jeremy Webb
--Episode 10 "The Moment of Truth" - Colin Morgan (Merlin), Angel Coulby (Gwen), Bradley James (Arthur), and Katie McGrath (Morgana)

Merlin is for some reason a show that I know isn't that good but I can't help but watch every episode. Like Robin Hood and Primeval.
