Disney Trivia Game

All right, I think the board needs a game just for fun, and since the site is about Disney, why not have a Disney Trivia Game?

Here is how it works. One person starts off by asking a question, then the person who gets it right, asks the next question, and so on and so on.

So here is an example:

me: When was SteamBoat Willie first aired?
user1: 1928
me: yes
user1: When was Eisner Born....

ect. ect.
~

So, I'll Start it off;

When was current CEO, Michael Eisner, born?

Man! You stole my idea! Well not actually, I was going to list some questions for the forum to answer, or have them give me questions. I was hanging out with some friends a couple fridays ago and we were trying to come up with a disney trivia game. Although we wanted questions that could be answered if you were a fan of a film, about the story not like directors and such... any away the answer is:
March 7, 1942
Sorry I'm not waiting for a "yes I'm just asking my next quetion:
What were the names of the three good fairies in Sleeping Beauty, what were their coordinating colors, the gifts each of them gave and, were their Powers of nature.
(*Note: the powers of nature were not in the film, it was an idea walt had, so it should make this interesting. Hint think of their names)

Great idea!

I don't know the answer to the current question, though, and I won't cheat. :D

Do I get extra points if my company name is said the same way as Aurora?

I work for ARORA

Totally off topic, but funny nonetheless

sorry poco, keep trying.

luke I don'tnn know what you mean by cheat, but if you know the answer and nobody gets it by sunday, feel free to answer, if noone answers by Sunday I think I may just ask another question, unless asked not to. (Meaning people want more time) I think this is going to be very cool if it plays out, and should enrich us all with new disney knowledge. You never know when it will come in handy.

The 3 good fairies are:
Flora- Red- Power over plant life
Fauna- Green- Power over animal life
Merriweather- Blue- Power over weather/the elements

I know that the colors and names are right, but I'm not sure on the power part. IF I do have it then my question is:

Name Hayley Mills' break-through film that caught Walt Disney's eye and lead to her being cast in Pollyanna?[/b]

Oh,
I forgot the gifts, so here they are:
Flora- gift of beauty
Fauna- gift of song
Merriweather- "not if death but just in sleep the fateful prophecy you'll keep. And from this slumber you shall wake, when true love's kiss, the spell shall break."

Tiger Bay

Tiger Bay (1959) was her first movie
Pollyana (1960) was her second

My next question is a bit involved, but should be a snap for any Aladdin fan.

What is the name of the Blue Guy Aladdin finds(correct spelling of the name is essential or it is wrong); What are the three things the blue guy can not do(his proquos or limitations); What are Aladdin’s three wishes(in the order in which they are wished); What is Aladdin’s one Free-be; What are Jafar’s three wishes(in the order in which he wishes them); and lastly, What is the Blue Guy’s Wish.

Well, let me start of by saying Aladdin is my all time favorite disney movie and I can't wait for the IMAX release... so in response to your question I believe you are looking for the answers as follows:

Genie is who Aladdin finds in the Cave of Wonders...

Three wishes he cannot grant are:
Rule #1 "I can't kill anybody, so don't ask"
Rule #2 "I can't make anybody fall in love"
Rule #3 "I can't bring people back from the dead. It's not a pretty picture.
I don't like doing it." "Other than that you got it."

Aladdin's three wishes in order are:
Wish #1 "Genie I wish for you to make me a prince."
Wish #2 (a non-verbal nod) "Say something like Genie I wish for you
to save my life... I'll take that as a yes."
Wish #3 "Genie I wish for your freedom"

The freebie wish was getting Aladdin and Abu out of the Cave of Wonders

Jafar's three wishes in order are:
Wish #1 "Genie, my first wish, I wish to rule on high, as Sultan."
Wish #2 "Genie, my second wish, I wish to be the most powerful sorcerer
in the world!"
Wish #3 "Slave, I make my third wish, I wish to be an all powerful Genie!"
(the 3rd wish was originally to have Jasmine to fall desperately
in love with him, but since Genie could not grant such a wish it
was null and void.)

Genie's wish was obviously stated earlier in the movie when he said he would wish for freedom.

My turn... (unless my answer was incorrect)

What was the original title given to the disney movie The Emperor's New Groove?

Hey, I know this one.

Kingdom of the Sun! (I feel kinda cheap after your thorough and detailed answer.) :)

My question is a really easy one. Which one of Disney's animated features from the '60s was not also made into a live-action film by the studio in the 1990s?

Why do yall make these things so hard????? :o

I'm stupid here!

The Sword in the Stone of course. But if you ask me, it would have made the best movie of all 3.

Now for my question: Who was the voice of Jiminy Cricket and what musical instrument was he known for playing?

Cliff Edwards played the Ukulele! right?

if so, here is my question:

Who Conducted the 1,076-piece band on opening day of the Magic Kingdom?

Okay, since no one has answered this question within 3-4 days, and I'm going on vacation tomorrow for a week, I'll go ahead and answer this question, and ask another one!

The answer: Meredith Willsom

The new question!
(an easy one mind you)

Who provides the voice of Eric, on the little mermaid!

*hint... www.imdb.com*** probably has it!

now here's a fun one:

who is the only actor to have appeared in a disney film in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s?

I'd guess Dean Jones, but it's just a guess?

Hmm, and if that's not right, John Fiedler's got to qualify between his live-action and animated (if those count) credits, I think.

There is a completely animated segment to the original fantasia that was cut and re-edited with new music to be put in make mine music. what was the name of that segment (to all you anthology box set owners ths one should be easy)

I know someone has to know this answer. I can almost think of it, but not quite. I do not have the Anthology or I may have already gotten the answer. COME ON Guys! Doesn't anyone know the answer? ...or does anyone care?
This game seems to move very slowly, but I think if more people participated and the pace picked up a little, it would be fun, or atleast interesting and enlightening.

It was Blue Bayou/A Tone Poem.

It was originally set to Clair de Lune (Debussy) and intended for Fantasia.

I think that is right, so I guess I should ask a question now?

Hmmmm....this is hard. I want to make it hard!

Oh, well - I'll ask this instead:

What is the full name and title of the King of the leprechauns in Darby O'Gill and the Little People
