So, this may be a stupid question... but why is the background for UD green all of a sudden instead of blue? It was normal when I logged in, and now all of a sudden, it's kind of a pistachio color, and it's kind of wierding me out. Is this some kind of Christmas thing, a bug, or is my computer just acting funny?

It's Christmas in UD now, that's why.

I logged on and I was so happy when I saw the green!-


This really makes it feel like Christmastime.

And just wait, when the blue background comes back it will look especially light. Ahhh, memories...

Oh, OK. I thought it might be some kind of Christmas tradition, but this is my first UD Christmas, so I wasn't really sure. I'm getting used to it now, but I my first reaction was all "WTF!?"

Just as a heads up, does it do that any other time of the year, or just Christmas?

I wonder why Christmas is the only holiday it changes, too. Maybe noone wanted to bother sorting out whether it should be black, purple, green, or orange during Halloween?

I wish we could have Christmas UD all year. It makes me happy.

But does it ever turn pink for Mother's Day, yellow for Easter, and/or red for Valentine's Day?

I think we'd all have to wear sunglasses if it turned yellow.
