Due to some personal issues, I'll be leaving UD. For those of you who know me off the site, know I've been saying for quite some time that I've wanted to leave UD due to lack of excitement around here. But with other things that have recently come up, I think it's time to finally do it.

Chris, over the last few months I've gotten to know you outside of UD, over AIM and FB. You are a great guy, and I am so sorry to hear you're leaving. I hope we'll still chat on AIM and FB. I always enjoy our convos and how you love to correct my grammar. I regret not being able to chat with you as frequently as I used to.

I have not posted here in months, because UD is nothing like it used to be. I just had to log in again to let you know what a great person and friend you are! I hope we can continue our chats online.

I really don't like when someone (anyone) leaves because everybody brings something different to the plate, but I don't get this nostalgic vibe that "UD is not what it used to be". I got news for you: nothing is like it used to be!!!! Is it better now than in the past or viceversa? I don't know!!! I've been visiting the site for five years and I think it's the same. This notion that we are losing the "magic" of the site because the "quality of the members" is not the same is nonsense!! Just my two cents!!!

Yeah, but some members have become synonymous with UD and constitute an integral part of it. If all those persons leave then UD itself will change...
